Our Short Term Peel and Stick product is designed for car shows, photo shoots and races (sprint, drag, endurance, time attack, etc.
). It is quick and easy to apply and meant to be disposable after a few hundred miles of driving your tires.
Our Permanent Raised Rubber Letter kits are designed for daily drivers and long term durability. These decals are meant to last the lifetime of the tire and are completely cleanable!
How many decals per kit?
Tire Stickers sell our letter and logo kits as a complete set for the entire car. There is a 12 character maximum for each phrase requested so if your phrase exceeds 12 characters you will need to place an order for another kit.
Each tire letter kits is sold in quantities of 4 or 8, designed for all four tires on the vehicle. If you select 4, you will receive a phrase to cover on side of each tire, top or bottom. If you order 8, you will receive enough for top and bottom of each tire. For example, ordering a "MICHELIN" tire letter kit of 4 will be for each tire, one side whereas a tire letter kit of 8 will be the phrase "MICHELIN" on top and bottom of the tire.

What is included with each order?
Each tire letter kit order will include the Tire Stickers product, application and removal instructions and our unique application adhesive (Permanent Raised Rubber Letter kit only).
Are Tire Stickers sold as individual letters or a decal kit?
We do not sell 'cookie-cutter' letters that will take hours to apply and risk incorrect spacing and orientation! Our tire letter kits are curved to fit our tire exactly as ordered and are a continuous decal on transfer film for quick and easy application. The film may be split into multiple pieces in order to fit your order in standard shipping envelopes to save you cost. No risk of getting adhesive on your fingers or having issues with proper placement of decals!
I'm not sure what size letter height to order, how do I pick the right letter height for my tire letter kit?
One of the biggest risks of damage to your Tire Stickers is ordering too large for the tire sidewall surface.
The tire has a designated tread bead and inner bead that defines the tire sidewall surface, this is the 'safe area' for application of tire letter kits.
Sportbike and off-road motorcycle tires have a standard size but must be measured. The Calculator is not intended for use on motorcycle tires or unusual tire sizes!!
There are two methods of determining the proper fitment for your tire:

When in doubt, it is safest to size the same height as the tire manufacturer's brand letters. Anything larger may risk damage in cornering or standard driving conditions.

Can you make custom fonts for my letter kit?
Tire Stickers are available in virtually any font! Our tire lettering kits are offered in standard fonts in the Create Your Own section but you may also provide your own font if it is not listed by selecting "Font Note Listed" and adding your request to the Order Notes
Can you make custom logos or designs for my tire letter kit?
There are no design limitations with Tire Stickers! Whether you are looking for raised white lettering style, billboard style, white walls, custom logos, brand names, hashtags or a social media handle.

What colors are Tire Stickers available in?
Tire Stickers are available in a variety of colors for each product type.
Short Term tire letter kits colors include: white, glow-in-the-dark, blue, red, green, orange, yellow, neon yellow, neon green, neon orange and neon pink.
Permanent raised rubber lettering kits are available in white, red, yellow and neon green.
We also offer custom multi-color designs to match custom PMS colors for larger quantity Tire Stickers orders.
I don't see my tire brand in your shop, how can I order?
If you do not see you brand in the Shop, you can order through the Create Your Own section! Be sure to request any special fonts by selecting "Font Not Available" and entering in the Order Notes section.
What shipping options are available?
We offer several shipping options including USPS and UPS standard and expedited options. Not all shipping options come with tracking or delivery guarantee and in the event of loss Tire Stickers cannot replace at no charge. If the guaranteed shipping is selected and a package is lost Tire Stickers will send you a replacement lettering kit immediately at no charge!

My Permanent Raised Rubber Tire Letter Kit included a glue bottle that is not full, is this enough glue for my order?
The Tire Lettering kit specialty adhesive should be used sparingly so as to avoid 'oozing' after applying to the sidewall. The glue bottle is intentionally not filled completely and is more than enough to apply to your tire. Should you need more glue due to an application issue or damage from driving, it is available through our Shop.
This adhesive is not standard super glue and should not be substituted!
I'm having trouble getting the letter kit to stick, what's going on?
The most important step is the tire preparation.
You may think the tire is clean but oil and dirt are difficult to remove, even new tires have to be thoroughly cleaned! Proper cleaning will ensure a successful bond.
Customers with raised lettering or 'ribs' on the tires also may face challenges. These areas require using a credit card or similar object to apply pressure in areas that are too narrow for your finger pressure. Without a contact surface, the decal cannot bond!

Do I need to sand the tire sidewall prior to application?
Our product will adhere regardless of the sidewall surface including over raised, embossed and ribbed variations. The Short Term Tire Lettering Kit will conform completely with the sidewall surface and the Permanent Raised Rubber Kit will overlay the surface.
Does the wheel need to be balanced after installing a tire letter kit?
Our Short Term solution is made of a thin ink that adds essentially no weight and is flush with the tire sidewall surface.
Our Raised Rubber Letter kits are only 0.5mm thick and also will result in a negligible weight addition.
If you order a flare or whitewall Permanent Raised Rubber Letter kit you may need to consider balancing the wheels again since this adds more weight.
How do I clean my lettering kit?
The Short Term product is not intended to be cleaned once discoloration begins. However, this can be cleaned once using acetone and a rag to lightly rub over the letters. This will only provide ~50 miles of additional life.
The Permanent Raised Rubber Letter kits are designed to be cleaned after discoloring from rain, tire shine, snow, dirt, etc. This can be done using a standard whitewall cleaning agent, dirt and oil remover or acetone / rubbing alcohol.
Will Tire Stickers come off with car wash or power washing?
Short Term and Permanent Raised Rubber Letter kits both withstand standard washing and power washing! However, refrain from using any automatic car wash system or similar that grabs the wheel/tire, or rubs against the tire, while passing through the wash system which in turn can cause damage to your decals.
I lost a letter from hitting a curb, can you replace this?
Accidents happen, so we offer free tire letter replacement for missing letters just cover the cost of shipping. Glue is an additional cost and can be purchased in the Shop.

A stowaway is any spare wheel with a wheel and tire size that differs from the dimensions of the wheels mounted on the vehicle. Also, the tire model must be identical to the main set of tires.
Manufacturers usually use a stowaway to save space in the luggage compartment and reduce the cost of the car.
However, not all cars have a stowaway. On European cars, the probability of seeing a dokatka in the trunk, or even just a tire repair kit, is higher. But Japanese, Korean, and especially Chinese manufacturers often prefer a full-fledged fifth wheel, and even on an alloy wheel. This is a kind of adaptation to bad roads in those countries where their products will travel. On such a spare wheel, of course, you can ride for as long as you like, but! All this applies only to the summer season. After all, any spare wheel (be it a full-size spare wheel or a dokatka) implies a summer tire. And a summer wheel in addition to three winter ones will already be a dokatka. Even an inexperienced driver will feel something is wrong with the behavior of such a car. Therefore, when using a dokatka in winter, it is important to observe the following rule:
If civilization, where you can repair a punctured tire or buy a new one, is far away, then the stowaway should be installed on the rear axle, albeit at the cost of a double rearrangement of the wheels.

However, the dokatki are also different. The pressure inside the tire depends on its type. The pressure in most cases is indicated on the same plate as the pressure in all wheels. Often it is indicated on the tire itself or, in case of loss of this information, you should look at the instructions for the car. Sometimes manufacturers put a spare wheel in the trunk with a tire as wide as the rest of the wheels or slightly different, but mounted on a steel rim smaller than the rest of the wheels, in diameter. But most of all in the Russian outback, with its usually broken roads, they do not like classic Euro-rollers. A thin and narrow steel disk, a tire with a profile not much wider and higher than a mountain bike, but, unlike the latter, the tread height resembles half-worn inscriptions on ancient plates.
