Update Description: Operation Solar Storm - World War 3

03/29/2023

The following changes will be added to World War 3 after maintenance, as well as a major update that will launch the seasonal event - Operation Solar Storm . The new version of the game will be available to all users for free in the World War 3 Launcher and Steam apps on March 30, 2023.

NEW MATERIALS

Added a new game mode: FUBAR
Added two new maps: Tokyo ("Battle"/"FUBAR") and Shibuya ("Teamfight"/"Domination").
Three new weapon models have been added: TYPE-89 (Assault Rifle), QBZ-191 (Assault Rifle) and PF3 (Rocket Launcher).
Three new reinforcements have been added: TYPE-X (main battle tank), Type XVI (fire support vehicle) and Shmel (drone).
Added non-combat vehicles: trucks ("FUBAR").
Domination mode added permanently.
Added new achievements and challenges.
Added new materials to the shop and the Battle Pass for Operation Solar Storm.
Added Japanese voice: Takeo.

NEW FEATURES

Added context interface (can be enabled in the game settings). With this feature, players will be able to hide unused UI elements such as vehicle durability, ammo type, current ammo count, or player status. These elements can be always shown on the screen, shown in context (only when necessary), or completely hidden.
Revival system (in FUBAR matches) has been added, which allows players to revive critically wounded teammates.
- Injured players will bleed out for 30 seconds, during which time an ally can revive them.
- Injured players can move but will bleed twice as fast.
- They can also look around and mark enemies or other objects for allies by pressing the "MARK" key.
- Bleeding players can be immobilized for more damage. After that, they can only look around a little and leave marks for allies.
- Wounded players are marked with a special revive icon that is visible only to allies within 30 meters. The icon also shows how much time is left before the player bleeds out.
- Injured players will see a list of people within 50 meters that can revive them.
- Players can mark wounded allies by aiming at them and pressing the "MARK" key to let them know that help is on the way.
- However, injured players can return to the send to battle screen without waiting 30 seconds. To do this, hold down the "USE" key to go to the death screen, after which the player will return to the send to battle screen.
- When reviving a player, the death countdown does not stop, but if time runs out while being revived, the player will not die.
- This can cause players to die instantly from explosions, headshots, vehicles, fall damage, environmental damage (such as fire), lethal melee attacks, or the M200.

Improved vehicle sound.
- New sounds have been created for tanks and wheeled vehicles based on real recordings of outdated and modern vehicles like the Leopard 2, Patria, SKOT, Rosomak, Ural and Polaris Sportsman. In an effort to give players the most complete combat experience possible, we've expanded the range of sounds on the battlefield and sort of ranked them by importance. We want each shot, step, or explosion to complement each other, so that players can understand what equipment is moving near them without even seeing it. Armored vehicles now sound sharper, louder and much more aggressive than, for example, tanks and large combat vehicles. Tanks evoke a feeling of fear due to the proximity effect at low and high frequencies. Vehicles now have many interconnected sounds of clutch, suspension, braking systems, body, horns and other noises that allow you to assess the danger of the machine, its condition and individual components. We also paid special attention to the complex mechanics of vehicle sounds, which must take into account the roughness and type of surface on which the vehicle is moving, as well as the speed of braking, slipping and even collisions.
Improved landing animations. When you receive a critical hit while falling, you will see the corresponding short animation for your character.
The model of the mechanical sight has been modified to improve visibility.
Improved first and third person view in vehicles.
- The current 3rd person perspective can now be assigned to vehicles such as buggies or ATVs. To do this, use the right mouse button.
- When driving a car in the first person, you will see the interior of the car, and you can also look through the windshield. In this case, the arrows will see black bars indicating the viewfinder. When driving vehicles that do not have a first-person perspective, you will see the battlefield through the windshield.
Helidrone camera model, physics and perspective improved.
Improved the balance of the system for awarding points to squads and single players in the "Battle" mode.
Improved animations for grenades, tablets, C4, first aid kits and UAVs.

GAME MECHANICS

Combined silencer and carbon silencer: recoil and muzzle velocity bonuses have been adjusted.
The M203 GL now uses roughly 30% of its ammo load when reloading ammo.
SIG: Adjusted damage and armor penetration values to make weapons more different from SMG 9x19 mm.
7.62x39mm (short or sniper barrel) and .300 BLACKOUT (short barrel) calibers: Adjusted damage values to improve effectiveness at appropriate ranges.
QBZ-95: Slightly increased recoil and slightly reduced rate of fire.
Auxiliary mechanical sight no longer occupies a module slot.
Reduced visual recoil of M4, G36 and SA80.
Reduced damage of Imugi machine guns.
Reduced the radius of the Imugi machine guns.
The visual feedback of mechanical sights on all weapon models has been increased.
Changed the transparency of player dots to make them more visible from a distance.
Improved perspective when using medium scopes.
Added shaking effect for various actions (for example, switching to aimed shooting).
Added idle animation for all weapons.
The Reaper Jammer now has a 60 second cooldown.
The T72 Special Turret now has a standard 30mm gun and missiles.
Changed the price of amplifications:
- ATV: 800 (previously 750)
- Warmate: 1300 (formerly 1500)
Added a separate waiting time for different categories of vehicles (vehicles, large drones, long-range support, UAVs, electronic warfare).
If you request a power-up from a category other than the one you used before, you will have to wait a certain time.
Switching to a K21 turret that does not support active modules automatically releases the active module cell.
Improved FZ rocket explosion effect.
Changed turret rotation options.
Added appropriate radio icons for all drones.
The behavior and animations of vehicle hatches have been fixed.

Weapon Mastery System Changes:
- Now the default base modules and camouflage for all weapons are unlocked at level 1.
- G36: Replaced incompatible stock at level 30.
- M416: Removed the duplicate cosmetic module at level 6. The built-in handguard now properly opens with a silenced barrel.
- AK-15: at level 45, the desired handguard opens along with the silenced barrel. Fixed repeating reward at level 50.
- Alpha: The cosmetic buttstock, previously unlocked at level 54, is now unlocked at level 50 to improve the order in which cosmetic modules are awarded.
- M417, SCAR-H: Short and long handguards now open with their respective barrels at levels 17 and 33.
- UKM, PKP Pecheneg BP: Handguard opens with short barrel at level 27 for compatibility with some module configurations.
- MG5: cosmetic bar unlocked at level 28.
- "Accuracy": replaced incompatible stock at level 19.
- MCS: Regular, Short, and Long Handguards now open at levels 1, 6, and 10 respectively.
- Ragun now has a unique crosshair at level 1.
- DMG Nine Milli: Reflex sight now opens at level 2, standard barrel at level 3, SIG muzzle brake at level 16, and DMG Nine-Milli muzzle brake at level 28. Cosmetic stock now opens at level 41 instead of 43, to improve the order in which cosmetic modules are issued.
- Vityaz: SIG muzzle brake now opens at level 10 and DMG Nine-Milli muzzle brake at level 35. Cosmetic receiver now opens at level 46 instead of 49to improve the order in which cosmetic modules are issued.
- Glauberyt: SIG muzzle brake now opens at level 16 and DMG Nine-Milli muzzle brake opens at level 28.
- SIG: SIG muzzle brake now opens at level 4, DMG Nine-Milli muzzle brake at level 30, and short handguard opens with short barrel at level 15.

ANIMATIONS

All left grip poses have been adjusted for weapon attachments and handguards.
Improved all MSBS-K quick reload options in first person.
Improved all long and fast reload options for MSBS-B in first person.
Adjusted the first person idle animation for the M4 MWS and improved all long and fast first person reload options.
All weapon reload animations have been improved due to the introduction of a staged reload system.
More dynamic and efficient first-person throw and equipment use animations have been added.
When running in first person mode, use animations match the position of the weapon on the screen to make movement look more realistic.
First and third person animation sets have been added for three new weapon models: Type-89, QBZ-191 and PF3.
Added a new first-person use animation for all weapon models and poses.
Improved the transition from running to walking to dashing in first person.
Improved the QBZ-95 inspection animation in first person mode.
Fixed an issue that caused the right hand model to overlap with the jacket model in first person when reloading the QBZ-95.
Improved all first-person long and fast reload options for Deagle, and fixed hand rotation issues.
Improved idle animations with the Vepr shotgun and all long and fast reload options in first person.
Added new third-person animations for RPG-7 and Vityaz on the report screen.
Improved third-person use animations for all poses, and fixed an issue with slow animations.
Fixed an issue that caused the soldier's body to rotate incorrectly in the hatch of the vehicle.
Various animations for running and dashing with weapons in first and third person have been added.

CENTER

Level progress is now displayed in the Battle Pass section.
Improved store design.
Changed the location of the camera in the main menu for the party and player character.
Improved localizations.
Improved visual effects on the report screen.
Fixed various bugs.
