Not all of us are lucky enough to have a sweet three car garage plus an extra shed for the lawn mower.
Most people have a one or two car garage and more tools and toys than space. If this sounds familiar then an ATV storage lift may be just the solution.
We can’t help you with the Christmas decorations, you’ll have to sort that out on your own.
These lifts also work for storing lawn mowers, snowmobiles, SxS and golf carts. Some of them can even do double duty as a mechanic lift.
Brock Lift
*Price: $1,799 / $2,199
Built in the USA. All steel frame, extra strong cables rated at 5 times the lift capacity, heavy duty safety chains and commercial grade motors.
Works with ceiling from 9 – 12 feet high. The lift comes with a 10 foot cord, just plug it in and it’s ready to use. No wiring required. Standard 110 V.
The platform lowers to the floor, allowing you to easily drive onto the platform. At the push of a button, the platform rises up out of the way providing additional storage underneath.
Brock Lift has two ATV lift models. The larger 2000 lb lift model has a 6’ x 9’ platform that is capable of holding two atvs, snowmobiles or bikes.
Brock Lift
Super Lifts
*Price: $2,225 / Depends on options
Unlike most ATV storage lifts, this lift is designed to be moved. It’s on heavy duty casters allowing it to be moved loaded or unloaded. Casters are rated at 1,000 lbs each.
Also, unlike most other lifts, because it is designed to be moved, it has both an upper and a lower platform.
These ATV storage lifts come with either an electric winch or hand winch option. Heavy duty construction, easy loading ramp, stop break on winch, manual stop pin and Spring-Loaded Lever with Dawg Locks.
The 2,000 lb lift has an upgrade platform/wall feature that really pops and puts your toys on display.
Super Lifts
Redline
*Price: $1,860
Single post storage lift that bolts to the floor with four corner anchors. Uses standard 110 V power. Built in safety stops.
A motorcycle platform is available as an upgrade.
This company does offer financing if you qualify.
Redline
Freestyle ATV Storage Lift
*Price: Call for quote
Interesting design. This free standing lift doesn’t require any anchoring. It is designed to be mobile and can be moved when fully loaded.
Remote controlled, 12V electric winch.
Freestyle ATV Storage Lift
Garage Evolution
*Price: Call for quote
Wall mounted unit that takes up no floor space. Weight is distributed 80% to the floor and 20% to the wall.
Lift goes up 10′ in the air, providing 7′ of clearance underneath. Special order sizes are available for larger platforms and higher lifts.
Once it is lifted at least 2′, lift can be stopped every 6 inches with a positive lock engagement.
Industrial grade 110 v hoist with 4,200 lb lifting cable and safety brakes. There are two safety stop systems for added safety and security.
Platform frame is constructed of steel and finished with two sheets of 3/4″ plywood (not included). Platform is removeable and has heavy duty casters allowing it to be moved even when fully loaded.

Build Your Own ATV Storage Lift
This option requires a little bit of know how. If this isn’t you, building shelving without the lift option is simple and easy. It’s not as sexy as a lift, but it gets the job done (hopefully under budget).
Build Your Own ATV Storage Shelf
If you don’t mind putting in the sweat equity, you can build yourself a pretty nice storage platform with some pallet racking.
You don’t need any special tools or skills – most pallet racking just snaps into place.
This isn’t necessarily a cheap option though, but it is a cheaper option. Expect to pay $400+.
If you’re not in a hurry, shop around and you might be able to pick up some used pallet racking. Your best bet for finding used racks are the local paper, store closing auctions, craigslist and ReStore.

Been searching the web and can't seem to find any plans to build a storage lift. If anybody out there has plans or one I can take some measurements off of that would be great.I'm not expecting an epic pow year(bite my tongue) so gonna need a project to do in the garage, that way I have an excuse to hang out with the guys and drink beer.(I already have downloaded plans for just a snowmobile lift,I'm looking for the stacker type.thanks for any help.

if you find anything or come up with something I too would be interested.
i have been debating on having one built as well
saw these on kijji there was a better pic that showed the top dropped down like a ramp and there is a hand winch to lift it up
Alpine lift | snowmobiles parts, trailers, accessories | Calgary | Kijiji
i was thinking of building something like this before and using my sled deck ramp to load to the top but i think it would be kinda sketchy to load a quad or sled to the top
and how do you keep the whole rack from moving as i don't know if the wheel brakes would hold it back

My buddy built two a while back. Sold them. We loaded with deck ramp and just put rack up against a wall to load. only bad part is height when loading them this way.

I would build it so that the top of the rack was level with my sled deck, back up to it, and just back the sled off onto the rack. the Lower one you can always use your shop dollies and some muscles to maneuver it underneath. Would make it super simple to load it back onto the truck when you were ready then too.
Ya I think I want to build one that is on a winch set up,theres so many diferent designs.good feed back so far tho.
that set up looks slick, guess i have a excuse for a trip to the steel shop now haha
This looks slick but probably not cheap. .. Pogo Lift - Showroom
I have not seen that one before,Interesting design.
I WAS LOOKING A WHILE AGO, AND THESE ARE SOME I FOUND... SOME NOT CHEAP:

here's the wall mounted ones:

That last one in red primer is what I was thinking about,I would love to get some measurements of that one.But I might have to just design it myself shouldnt be that hard.Thinking 110volt electric winch instead of hand crank just because.

I build this using the same shelving that they have at Costco, it all come apart so in the winter time it's not in the way also I got caster wheels so I can move it where ever I want. I use my sled deck ramp to put the top one.... never got a chance to rig up the winch yet... Also a lot cheeper that buying those that are previously posted.

With a couple of those I could buy more sleds
Where can a person find that type of shelving
I built one of these when the wife and I both had sleds. Sold it to a friend when the wife sold her sled.

Although the season for ATVs and motorcycles does not depend on the season and may not be interrupted, many motorists prefer snowmobiles in winter, sending ATVs and motorcycles to storage until the weather warms up.
Before long-term storage, it is not enough to simply clean the ATV of dirt and place it in a warm, dry garage. Its service life and the quality of further operation depend on the correct preparation of transport for wintering. Below are some recommendations for preparing equipment for long-term parking. nine0004
Washing and cleaning the ATV and motorcycle before long-term parking
Before storing the motorcycle, thoroughly wash and then dry and cover all important components and mechanisms with preservation grease (you can use regular silicone grease in an aerosol can).
It is better to cover equipment for the winter, but not with polyethylene, but with a special protective cover made of breathable material. The cover will protect from dust and moisture, while not interfering with natural ventilation
Preparing the ATV and Motorcycle Fuel System for Long-term Parking
The ATV fuel system is susceptible to corrosion, so it is recommended to fill the fuel tank before "wintering" to allow the fuel to displace any remaining moisture on the inner walls. Over time, the fuel loses its properties, so it is recommended to replace the fuel with a new one at the beginning of the season before operation. If a plastic tank is installed on an ATV or motorcycle, then it is better to remove the fuel from it before parking. nine0004
Before conservation, in order to ensure safety, it is necessary to check the fuel system for possible damage and leakage
Preparing the engine of an ATV and a motorcycle for a long parking
the crankcase and parts such as pistons, cylinders, and piston rings, due to the lack of a protective oil film on them, can also be subject to corrosion. Therefore, before a long-term parking, it is recommended to unscrew the spark plugs and fill in engine oil through the candle wells, while manually turning the engine crankshaft several revolutions. The holes in the candle wells should be closed with rags or special plugs to prevent foreign objects from getting inside the ATV engine while the vehicle is parked. nine0004
This operation will help create a reliable oil film on the parts of the cylinder-piston group during parking and protect them from possible corrosion.
Remove excess oil from ATV or motorcycle cylinders before use. To do this, it will be enough to turn the crankshaft with the help of an electric starter or a kickstarter for 3-5 seconds with the carburetor throttle fully open.
Motorcycle and ATV fluid replacement
Before "wintering", it is recommended to replace all technical fluids (engine oil, antifreeze, brake fluid), if they are, of course, used in your vehicle.
Old engine oil may contain contaminants that will cause it to thicken and cause unwanted deposits on parts walls and in oil passages.
At the beginning of the season, the fluids will have to be changed again, because. over time, they oxidize and lose their properties.
Motorcycle and ATV battery storage
The battery can be stored without removing it from the ATV, but be sure to disconnect it from the on-board network. Environmental parameters are important storage conditions for batteries. The optimum temperature for battery storage is from -10 to + 10 degrees Celsius. The humidity in the room should be as low as possible, this will slow down the self-discharge process. The battery must be fully charged before storage. Storage of a discharged battery is unacceptable. During storage, it is necessary to control the charge level and, if necessary, recharge the battery
Proper storage of ATV and motorcycle tires
Tires should not be exposed to freezing temperatures for extended periods of time. In the cold, rubber loses its properties and deteriorates. When storing in a garage, so that the wheels do not contact the frozen surface for a long time, it is better to install an ATV or a motorcycle on tackles. You should also monitor the tire pressure, it should not be too high or too low. nine0004
If you do not have a warm garage to store your ATV or motorcycle, you can use the services of individual storage. Transport during the required time will be in a heated room where the optimum temperature and humidity are maintained
Proper storage of the off-road vehicle significantly increases its service life. It is recommended to store the vehicle in a dry place, hiding it under the Stealth ATV cover. The fabric product protects the car not only from dust, dirt and moisture, but also from direct sunlight, which can cause darkening or fading of the paintwork. The Godzilla awning offered by the Kvadrostil online store is a versatile product. It can be used not only as a parking cover, but also as a transport device. nine0004
ATV cover "Stealth" is used in the following cases:
The model has a thoughtful design, thanks to which the machine receives one hundred percent protection from external factors. It fits snugly to the ATV, and its fixation is made by means of an elastic band sewn to the bottom edge of the cover. It also has pockets for a trunk and a windshield, so the pilot does not have to remove accessories from the body of the quad.
The Stealth 500 ATV cover is a textile product available in four colors: blue, camouflage, black and black/yellow. High-strength synthetic fabric 600 D OXFORD is used as the main material. All seams are stitched with nylon thread, resistant to abrasion and wear. Also in the composition of the canvas there is a reinforcing thread that gives resistance to tearing and stretching.
The accessory can be used both in the garage and on the street, and at any time of the year (both summer and winter), as it perfectly withstands temperatures in the range from +60 to -60 degrees. It can also be used to transport an ATV. The product is fixed by means of fixing straps, four of which are located under each wheel, and one across the bottom. This fastening guarantees optimal stability of the machine even in strong winds. nine0004
Four-wheeled ATVs endure tremendous stress during extreme off-road forays. In order for the equipment to work long enough, you need to service your transport from specialists in a timely manner and, as mentioned above, properly store it. Constant humidity, as well as too low or high temperatures adversely affect the condition of important components and parts of the SUV. Using the cover for ATV Stealth ATV 50, you can solve several problems at once: nine0004
Very strong and durable GODZILLA case shows excellent results during use, while not stretching and retaining color vibrancy throughout its life. It is resistant to chemicals and, thanks to its waterproof properties, can be cleaned under running water. It can also be washed in a washing machine - at a temperature of forty degrees, without spinning. Among the advantages of awning protection can also be noted: nine0004
Despite the synthetic design, the fabric is able to "breathe", and this prevents the formation of condensation under the motorcycle cover. If melted holes form on the fabric, they can be easily sealed. When folded, the awning occupies a minimum of space, so Stels ATV covers can be taken on any trips that involve spending the night. nine0004
If you want to purchase a protective tent for ATV "Stealth", you can order it on the official website of the company "Quadrostil".
