I haven’t driven my BMW for about six months and I want to make sure the tires are still filled properly before I hit the road. How do you check the tire pressure on a BMW 328i?

To check the tire pressure on a BMW 328i, use a tire gauge and check it manually.
The tire pressure in a BMW 328i should be 32 psi.
If you drive a 2016 or later model, then your vehicle has TPMS, which will alert you when air pressure is low in any tires.
You can also check the tire pressure manually with a tire gauge. Remove the valve stem cap on a tire and press the gauge onto the valve stem. Read the number on the gauge. If it’s less than 32, fill up the tire with air at a gas station.

I switch up my vehicles pretty often, so I tend to look for cars with great resale value. I’m really into the look of the Kia Soul but I have to make sure it won’t depreciate too much before I get a chance to sell it. What is the depreciation rate for a Kia Soul?

The tires of any car must have normal pressure. This affects traffic safety. Such an indicator should be controlled taking into account the dynamic parameters of machine models. BMW is no exception. Not all owners of these models know what tire pressure should be. It is important to understand here that, depending on the modification of the BMW, there is a pressure norm, the excess or underestimation of which can lead to unpleasant consequences.
BMW Tire Pressure Gauge
If the tires are not properly inflated, this will directly affect the traction of the wheels and the handling of the machine. With an illiterate approach to the pressure indicator and incorrect inflation of tires with air, rapid wheel wear will occur. Or the car will behave unpredictably on the road. It is very dangerous. In addition, keeping the machine in the normal pressure range can significantly reduce operating costs. You do not often have to buy expensive sets of tires and pay for their installation. Every car owner understands that tires with the correct pressure last longer and are better in relation to driving.
For competent control, it is important to ensure that the BMW tire pressure sensor shows the desired numbers. Where to get them?
Tire Pressure Gauge
There are special tables in which these norms are written. Let's imagine some of them:
This is not all the data on the required pressure rate. For those who do not know what the specific indicators of their model are, it is better to have an instruction manual for the car handy. Each modification has its own numbers. And, the owner must understand this. For example, the pressure in BMW E70 tires with different wheel diameters should be different: r18 - 2.1 / 30 and 2.3 / 33. A r192.1/30 and 2.5/36. The same rate is allowed in the front wheels.
Standards table
Many BMW owners complain that a pressure error notification often appears on the instrument panel. The red blinking does not disappear even after swapping. Most do not know what to do in such cases.
Error on the pressure sensor
Why does the BMW tire pressure error occur? Let's look into this issue. There are several ways to solve the problem:
Pressure sensor
All car owners should know that regular tire checks are carried out independently or in the service. But without this, full operation is impossible. Since, if you miss the moment of falling or increasing performance, you can irrevocably ruin the wheels. Competent check allows to avoid many troubles. On the way, a wheel may go down or, even worse, an emergency.
To check the pressure yourself, use a special pressure gauge. The device should always be in the cabin or in the trunk of a car. For a competent check, you need to know a few rules:
The pressure test sequence should be as follows:
Another important tip: Always carry a spare tire with you. And it is necessary to maintain the desired pressure indicator in it.
This will allow you not to bother with pumping and measuring if you need to replace the structure.
