Persons allowed to take the exams:

Documents required to pass the exam in Gostekhnadzor:

Examinations and the issuance of a tractor driver-driver (tractor driver) certificate are carried out by the state technical supervision bodies at the registered place of residence of a citizen (place of stay) on the territory of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation.

Exams are taken in the following sequence:

1. On the safe operation of self-propelled machines - theory.
2. Operation of machinery and equipment - theory.
3. According to the rules of the road - theory.
4. Comprehensive (practical driving skills, safe operation of vehicles and traffic rules) - practice.

The theoretical exam tests the knowledge of the candidate:

• Rules for the safe operation of self-propelled machines and the basics of their management.
• Rules for the operation of machinery and equipment and the basics of their management.
• Legislation of the Russian Federation in terms of ensuring the safety of life, health of people and property, environmental protection during the operation of self-propelled machines, as well as criminal, administrative and other liability when operating self-propelled machines.
• Factors contributing to the occurrence of accidents, accidents and traffic accidents.
• Structural elements of self-propelled machines, the condition of which affects the safety of life, health of people and property, and environmental protection.
• Methods of providing first aid to persons injured in accidents, accidents and traffic accidents.
• Rules of the road of the Russian Federation and responsibility for their violations.

The practical test tests the ability to perform the following maneuvers:

• Starting from a standstill on a hill.
• U-turn with a limited width of the territory with a single gear shift.
• Putting a self-propelled machine into the box in reverse.
• Putting a self-propelled machine in an aggregate with a trailer into the box in reverse (except for categories "A").
• Aggregation of a self-propelled machine with a mounted machine (except for categories "A").
• Aggregation of a self-propelled machine with a trailer (trailed machine).
• Braking and stopping at various speeds, including an emergency stop.

ATV (snowmobile) driver

Description

Category A I are off-road (not intended for driving on public roads) motor vehicles:

Snowmobiles

Do not confuse category A1 with category A on your driver's license.

Category A1 applies to off-road motor vehicles, while category A is needed to drive, for example, a motorcycle. The motorcycle is intended for driving on public roads. It is registered with the traffic police, and ATVs and snowmobiles - with the Gostekhnadzor inspection.

How do you know that you have purchased equipment belonging specifically to category A1?
It's very simple: the category is indicated in the passport of the self-propelled vehicle (ATVs, snowmobiles and snow and swamp vehicles are self-propelled vehicles) and the registration certificate.

Tractor driver's license category AI

To operate such equipment, a tractor driver's license (UTM) with an open category A I is required.

Theoretical exam

is passed at the training ground of our training center on the same technique on which you will be trained.

If you have a driver's license or a tractor driver's license, you do not need to pass the traffic rules exam.

Please note!

If you opened category A (motorcycles) in your driver's license before January 1, 2000 , then you do not need to study and pass exams, the Gostekhnadzor inspection will open category AI for you without studying and exams.

Requirements for the candidate

Persons who do not have medical contraindications are accepted for training, aged 16 years and over.
