WARNING
USING THE JACK
Incorrect use of the jack can result in personal injury or death as the vehicle could come off the jack violently.
• Do not use the jack for any other purpose - only to change a flat tire.
• Only use a jack designed for your vehicle. Do not use the jacks of other vehicles and do not use your jack to lift other vehicles.
• Check that the jack is correctly positioned at the jacking points.
• Never stand under a vehicle that has been jacked up.
• Do not start the engine or drive off while your vehicle is jacked up.
• Do not raise the vehicle when there are passengers in the vehicle.
• When lifting the vehicle, do not place objects under or on the jack.
• Do not raise the vehicle too high.
• Use jack stands if you need to get to the bottom of the vehicle.
Be especially careful when lowering the car: do not crush other people.
REPLACING A FLAT WHEEL
Observe the following precautions to reduce the risk of injury:
• Never use oil or grease on the wheel bolts or nuts. Doing so may cause the nuts to loosen, which may cause an accident.
• After changing a wheel, tighten the nuts to the specified torque as soon as possible.
Otherwise, the nuts may loosen and the wheel may come off while the vehicle is moving, causing injury or death.
When using a spare tire:
• Avoid sudden acceleration or braking, or sharp turns.
• There is a speed limit when using a spare tire tire: do not drive at speeds above 80 km/h when a spare tire tire is installed. The spare wheel is not designed for high speed driving.
When driving with snow chains and a spare wheel: do not fit snow chains if a spare wheel is used. Snow chains can damage the car body and significantly impair the performance of the car.
If a spare wheel is installed, the vehicle speed may not be determined accurately, as the following systems may malfunction:
• ABS and Brake Assist;
• VSC system;
• A-TRAC system;
• Auto LSD system;
• cruise control;
• navigation system;
• All wheel drive system. Note
Do not continue driving with a flat tire, driving even for short distances can damage the tire and wheel and they will not be repairable.
Tuning Toyota Tundra is an exciting and wonderful activity with a fairly large number of options. The number of components for tuning and equipping a pickup truck with everything you need is simply incalculable. 4x4 Tundra selects the best accessories for you, and designs and manufactures Toyota Tundra tuning components and accessories to help equip your pickup truck for a variety of tasks.
Tuning Toyota Tundra most often begins with a power kit. It gives the pickup a more aggressive and brutal appearance, and also regularly justifies its name on the roads, in case you have to lay a new route on the ground. The assortment of the technical center "4x4 Tundra" includes both products of well-known American companies and domestic manufacturers, which in recent years have become much more relevant in terms of cost, while not inferior to their overseas counterparts in quality and design. Front and rear power steel bumpers, steel steps of different designs - a worthy choice.
We are especially proud of our own power body kit for Toyota Tundra. Moreover, it includes not only front and rear power bumpers and running boards made of already familiar steel, but also the world's first power front bumpers made of composite material, developed in cooperation with the Russian company AVS-Design. We talked about them in more detail in a special article.
We can also make a power body kit according to an individual project and create for you a Toyota Tundra pickup truck that is unique in all respects and fully meets your wishes.
You can get acquainted with the full range of the power body kit for Toyota Tundra in our online store in the "POWER WEIGHT" section.
When installing LPG equipment, the bottle(s) are often installed in place of the spare wheel. And storing a spare tire in the back or even in the garage is often not the best way out. Taking into account the experience of Western colleagues, we have developed our own design of a bracket for a spare wheel up to 37 inches, providing it with an electric drive and a remote control. As a result, the spare wheel on the disk is fixed behind your Toyota Tundra and, with the help of simple manipulations that do not require much effort, it lowers and rises, while also serving as a convenient step into the body, a camping table, a chair or even an armchair. At the same time, the bracket is dismantled quickly enough and moves to the right place on special wheels.
Spare wheel carrier mounts for all generations of Dodge Rams are also available. You can learn more about the characteristics of the bracket in our online store: "BRACKETS FOR SPARE TIRES"
Tuning Toyota Tundra often aims to prepare a pickup truck for off-road or expedition conditions. And such adventures often mean a lot of dust or dirt, as well as overcoming water obstacles. To protect the Toyota Tundra engine from many troubles, we offer the installation of a snorkel, which is manufactured in Russia specifically for the 4x4 Tundra technical center. To date, a snorkel model for Toyota Tundra 2007-2013 is already available. Snorkel for Toyota Tundra 2014+ model year is under development.
Snorkels are made of composite material and coated with the desired color LINE-X protective coating, which gives them additional rigidity. More details - in our online store: "SHNORKEL"
Toyota Tundra tuning is not only a beautiful body kit and large wheels, but also protecting the pickup truck from hard contact with the landscape, especially if you have to move off-road, rough terrain or roads in the deep province. Sometimes an inopportunely turned up stone or a deep hole in the road causes serious damage to the engine crankcase, gearbox or transfer case. Repairing or replacing these units cost a lot of money, so installing a pickup truck bottom guard prevents most of the trouble. Technical center "4x4 Tundra" offers several protection options for Toyota Tundra - aluminum and composite. You can learn more about the range of protections in the "PROTECTION" section of our online store.
An integral part of any off-road adventure is a winch. Often it is simply impossible to do without it. Moreover, not every SUV will pull out such a heavy pickup truck as the Toyota Tundra. But the pickup truck is quite capable of helping a stuck neighbor. Therefore, the technical center "4x4 Tundra" offers a large selection of winches with different traction forces (section of the "WINCHES" online store), as well as the installation of winches in a regular or power bumper. We wrote more about this in our material: "Installing winches in a regular bumper."
If you do not plan a permanent installation of a winch or want to be able to use it not only from the front, but also from the rear, as well as for loading equipment or cargo into the back of a pickup truck, we will make a platform for attaching the winch and install fasteners and connectors for power supply in the required places.
It's no secret that under the hood of Toyota Tundra there is a powerful 5. 7 liter engine, which cannot be classified as particularly economical. With a standard tank volume of 100-120 liters, the average cruising range is 500 kilometers. On travel and long trips, it is often desirable to have an additional reserve of fuel. To solve such problems, the technical center "4x4 Tundra" offers fuel tanks of increased volume, made in Russia from stainless steel with a volume of 200, 240 and 285 liters. They are installed in place of a regular tank and, due to the strength of the material, do not require additional protection. The tanks are designed in such a way that they do not hang below the frame, and also have a bottom in the form of a slightly pronounced funnel so that the remaining fuel always flows into the fuel intake area. You can learn more about the range of extended fuel tanks for Toyota Tundra in the "FUEL TANKS" section of our online store.
Often one of the indispensable elements of tuning Toyota Tundra is the installation of additional light. These are LED fog lights, additional LED beams on the front power bumper or roof, LED or xenon lights, side lights. We offer only high-quality LED, halogen and xenon optics from the world's leading manufacturers Rigid Industries, Aurora, Hella and Osram. You can choose the option that suits you in the section of our online store "Light". And for advice, you can contact our specialists (CONTACTS).
Tuning Toyota Tunrda is rarely complete without such an obligatory detail as beautiful wheels and off-road tires. We offer products from wheel manufacturers that have proven themselves in the world market: LA Connection, Moto Metal, KMC, XD Series, as well as the Russian manufacturer of exclusive wheels Solomon Alsberg. And the tires are from Cooper, GoodYear, Mickey Thompson, Nitto and Durun. You can get acquainted with the assortment of tires and disks in the section of our online store "TIRES, DISCS"
V8 engine must sound. To sound real to reveal all its hidden possibilities for the time being in a real, high-quality sound. Regular mufflers often do not suit the owners of Toyota Tundra pickups, so replacing them with alternatives is quite common. The "4x4 Tundra" technical center offers exhaust systems from well-known American manufacturers Corsa and Borla, as well as an exhaust system of our own production, specially developed by us, created on the basis of imported analogues. The main advantages of the "4x4 Tundra" exhaust system are an attractive price, as well as a design feature: up to 2500 rpm, the system sounds like a regular one, and if you press the gas harder, the American V8 opens up in full with a powerful and loud roar. You can explore the range of exhaust systems for Toyota Tundra in the section of our online store "EXHAUST SYSTEMS".
Sometimes, when installing powerful electrical equipment or a large number of components that consume electricity, the power of the standard battery may not be enough. To provide the necessary power supply, you can install an additional battery that compensates for the load and can be charged from a regular generator. An additional battery on the Toyota Tundra is installed in a special insulated compartment in the back and connected to the regular pickup network. For questions about installing an additional battery on Toyota Tundra, please contact our specialists. CONTACTS.
Not everyone is comfortable in order to get something out of the body, climb into it. And if a kung is installed and you need to get something heavy... The technical center "4x4 Tundra" developed the design of a retractable platform for Toyota Tundra. It is installed in the cargo compartment and simply slides out with everything that is laid on it and then slides back. It has 4 fixed positions - fully retracted, and three fixations for different lengths outward. The platform is made of aluminum and can be protected from damage with the LINE-X coating.
