Primewell tires are manufactured by Giti Tire of Singapore. The company also manufactures and sells tires under the GT Radial, Runway, and Dextero brands.
The Giti Tire Company has eight plants in China and Indonesia with the capacity to produce approximately 289,900 tires daily. It recently opened a new plant in South Carolina, USA with the same ISO/TS16949:2002 accreditation as the factories in Asia.
With that being said, it is safe to assume that Primewell tires are not your run-of-the-mill tire brand. They are cheaper than other brands, but not dirt cheap like similar tires manufactured in China.
You can expect Primewell to cost less than Bridgestone or Michelin tires, but not as cheap as the tires from lesser known brands. Primewell tires are in the average side of the price range, making them perfect for the cash-strapped consumer.
Primewell Tires themselves market passenger car, SUV, light truck and van, and heavy truck and bus tires. Inside the passenger car tire section there’s seven specific variations, covering summer and winter, ice, and all season.
There’s the imaginatively named “All Season”, Valera Sport AS, Sport 910, Valera Ice (hmm, wonder what surface that’s designed for), Valera Winter, PS880, and PS 870. Let’s have a look at the features of each.
Why Choose Primewell TiresBesides the affordable price, there are other reasons why you should choose Primewell tires for your car, truck, or SUV. For instance, there are Primewell R&D centers in Germany, United Kingdom, China, Indonesia, and the United States that collaborate together to deliver the best high-quality product. Primewell understands that different regions from around the globe will demand a different set of tires to cope with existing weather and road conditions. I’m not totally sure if other lesser known tire brands can stake a similar claim in terms of tire manufacturing.
Tuned for Driving ComfortIn my experience, Primewell tires are specifically tuned to deliver driving comfort instead of focusing on grip and handling. Even their impressive lineup of ultra-high performance tires were decently comfortable compared to other high-performance tires.
Good QualityEach Primewell tire that rolls off the manufacturing plant is given a final personal inspection by trained professionals. Their job is to ensure that there are no defects on the new batch of tires. This is good news for potential car owners who are considering Primewell for their new set of tires. Each Primewell tire is also equipped with a barcode on the tire sidewall to trace the raw materials that were used in the product.

Primewell is one of the latest tire brands to join the tire industry. Its tires are manufactured by a Singapore-based company, known as Giti Tires. Giti Tires also owns other tire brands such as Runway, GT Radial and Dextero, among others.
Today, Giti Tires is currently one of the largest tire manufacturers in the world. It has several tire manufacturing facilities, based in Asia and North America.
In Asia, its tire manufacturing facilities are in Indonesia and China while its manufacturing plant in North America is based in South Carolina. Its South Carolina manufacturing plant produces over 300,000 tires every day.
In the U.S Primewell tires are sold under the Firestone brand. It’s the only licensed dealer in the U. S to sell Primewell tires.
Primewell produces tires for passenger cars, SUVs and 4x4s, light trucks and vans as well as trucks and buses. To this end, it has a vast collection of tires in its product line, ideal for almost all types of vehicles. In this section, we will walk you through some of this brand’s most popular tires, their features, performance, available sizes as well as pros and cons.
Most of the all-terrain tires that you will find on the market today, come with a steep price tag. But, this is not the case with the Primewell Valera A/T. The Primewell Valera A/T is a budget-friendly all-terrain tire, designed for drivers of SUVs and 4x4 vehicles.
According to Primewell, the Valera A/T is a rugged all-terrain tire that will take your vehicle almost anywhere. To ensure the tire can deliver on its objectives, Primewell has furnished the Valera A/T with a vast range of outstanding features.
The Valera A/T Comes with four longitudinal grooves on its tread. These four longitudinal grooves enable the tire to get rid of the water quickly, thus helping to prevent hydroplaning in wet conditions.
The four grooves on the Valera A/T also feature a 3D chamfered design, which enables the Valera A/T to get rid of debris and stones. As a result, this tire will continue delivering dependable grip and traction, in almost all sorts of terrains and surfaces.
Primewell has also furnished the Valera A/T with a unique shoulder block design. This shoulder block design helps the tire to dig deep into ice and snow, thus keeping your vehicle moving.
The Valera A/T also features five longitudinal blocks on its tread. These blocks help to provide superb grip and traction, for all types of terrains, conditions and surfaces, including snowy conditions.
As mentioned earlier, the Primewell Valera A/T is built to deliver top-notch performances across all terrains, surfaces and conditions. So, is this the case or this tire is a disappointment? Well, we mounted the Valera A/T on a Toyota 4Runner 2020 and tested it on different surfaces and terrains. And this is how it fared.
On dry surfaces, the Valera A/T was exceptional. It delivered adequate amounts of traction for braking and acceleration. Also, its cornering performance was outstanding, even when pushed the 4Runner to its limits.
Its performance on wet surfaces was also superb. It offered great levels of grip on wet surfaces. We never felt the 4Runner lose traction at any point, even when we pushed it hard. We also assessed this tire’s performance in muddy conditions and it drove through comfortably.
We also decide to check how this tire would perform in snowy conditions. Well, the performance here was equally top-notch. From moderate snow to deep snow, this tire delivered gripped the surface confidently. Comparing it to the other all-terrain tires that we’ve tested in deep snow, we can confidently say that the Valera A/T is in the top half.
Comfort is not one of the main attributes of all-terrain tires. However, we have nothing bad to say about the Valera A/T. We never experienced any form of discomfort during our test drives. It rolled over smoothly, on both paved and unpaved surfaces. Also, road noise wasn’t an issue when driving at normal speeds.
Primewell Valera A/T Sizes and Fitment
There are around 22 different tire sizes for the Valera A/T. The different sizes range between 15 inches and 20 inches. There’s also a 15-inch and 16-inch size for light trucks, in case you own one.
If you drive a light truck, SUV, crossover or 4x4 and you are looking for a refined, dependable, and affordable all-terrain tire for your vehicle, then you should consider going for the Primewell Valera A/T. It will get the job done comfortably in situations where most of the other all-terrain tires within its price range will falter.
The Primewell PS890 Touring is a touring all-season tire, built for all types of passenger cars. It’s designed to deliver stellar handling and traction, combined with a comfortable ride and a long mileage.
This Primewell all-season touring tire comes with an all-season rubber compound. With this rubber compound, this tire will remain pliable across different weather conditions, whether it’s cold, wet or dry. And as a result, this tire will continue supplying the required levels of traction and grip throughout the year.
Primewell has also furnished the PS890 Touring with four longitudinal grooves as well as several sipes. The work of the longitudinal grooves and the sipes is to move water away from the tire's tread blocks, thus making sure it maintains constant contact with the road surface.
The PS890 Touring also features larger shoulder blocks. These larger shoulder blocks are designed to improve vehicle stability when you are undertaking cornering maneuvers at high speeds.
The manufacturer has also optimized this tire’s tread, to help keep noise levels at a minimum. Also, the tire’s tread ribs help to keep it stable during high-speed driving, leading to minimal vibrations. Hence, you should enjoy a pleasant driving experience.
All-season passenger tires are designed to provide drivers with steady performance and capable handling, across different weather conditions. Simply put, these tires should work well, whether it’s on dry roads or wet surfaces. So, does the Primewell PS890 Touring live up to these expectations? Well, we fitted a set of the PS890 Touring on a Ford Edge 2020 and tested its performance across different conditions.
On dry tarmac, the PS890 Touring was outstanding. While it may lack the properties and features of a premium all-season touring tire, it remains a great choice for daily driving. The cornering grip was stellar. It kept the car solidly planted on the surface, even when we were maneuvering tight turns. However, its responsiveness was not that great, which is usually the case with most all-season tires.
Its performance when subjected to wet conditions was also exceptional. Traction and grip were great while braking distances were short, meaning you are assured of a safe ride. We didn’t experience any hydroplaning issues on wet surfaces, thanks to the circumferential grooves and numerous sipes on its tread. However, its responsiveness issues were also present on wet roads.
We also tested its performance in snowy conditions. And the results were mixed. In light snowy conditions, the traction was solid and it never felt as if the tire was hunting for grip. But in deep snow, the situation is completely different. The grip was not reliable. So, it wouldn’t be advisable to ride with these tires in deep snowy conditions.
A comfortable and quiet ride is something that you would expect from a passenger touring tire. And this is also the case with the PS890 Touring. We never encountered issues of excessive vibrations or noise, even when the tire was rolling over rough surfaces. Overall, the ride experience was above average.
The available sizes for the Primewell PS890 Touring range between 13 inches and 19 inches. In total, there are 10 available sizes for this tire. The 17-inch and 19-inch sizes come with an XL load range, meaning they can support additional leads.
If you are looking for an all-season tire that will deliver dependable all-weather traction, a pleasant driving experience, high mileage and a safe ride, then you should consider outfitting your vehicle with the Primewell PS890 Touring.
The Primewell Valera H/T is a highway all-season tire, built for SUVs and trucks. According to Primewell, this tire should provide you with decent traction, great handling as well as a quiet and comfortable ride.
Similar to other Primewell tires, the Valera H/T comes adequately equipped, to ensure it can handle the rigors of daily driving on different terrains and conditions.
First, the Valera H/T has been furnished with a symmetrical tread pattern, featuring four circumferential grooves. The symmetrical tread pattern helps to deliver a comfortable and stable ride. On the other hand, the four circumferential grooves on this tire’s tread help to get rid of water, thus ensuring that hydroplaning issues are kept to a minimum.
Second, the Valera H/T features an all-season tread design. This tread design helps to ensure that this tire can deliver exceptional all-year-around performance, regardless of whether it’s during the dry months or the wet season.
Third, this all-season highway terrain tire also features Primewell’s active noise canceling technology. As its name suggests, this technology is designed to prevent or minimize road noise, resulting in a quiet and comfy ride.
Fourth, the Valera H/T also features an optimized carcass tension technology. So, what’s the role of this technology on this tire? According to Primewell, this technology is designed to deliver a nice blend of dry and wet handling.
Primewell makes quite a lot of bold claims about this tire. To this end, we decided to put it to the test and see whether these claims are true or not. We mounted it on a 2019 Honda CR-V and subjected it to a series of tests in different conditions. And its overall performance was impressive.
On dry surfaces, the traction was great. But, one thing we noticed is that the traction levels that you will get from this tire on dry roads will depend on your driving speeds. If you are driving at moderate speeds, then the traction will be more than enough. But if you decide to push your vehicle to its limits, you may experience some minimal loss of traction. But, nothing serious to compromise your safety.
On wet surfaces, the situation was also similar. When we were driving at moderate speeds, this tire supplied adequate traction and grip. Again, if you decide to push your vehicle too hard, you may experience some slight loss of grip.
We also tested this tire’s performance in snowy conditions. And we were not disappointed. It gripped the road confidently. However, its traction was not that great when we encountered thicker layers of snow. Simply put, while this tire is a confident performer in light snowy conditions, it will struggle to pull your vehicle through if you encounter more than two inches of snow.
Another standout area of this tire is its ride quality. In fact, it’s almost impossible to find anything to complain about in this area. The ride was comfortable, supple and quiet, even when we encountered poorly-maintained roads.
There are currently six different sizes available for the Primewell Valera H/T. These sizes range between 16 inches and 20 inches. Hence, it can fit most pick-up trucks, SUVs, compact crossovers, among other passenger vehicles.
If you drive a crossover, an SUV, a truck or any other vehicle for your daily commutes and you need an affordable tire that can perform well throughout the year, then you shouldn’t go any further. The Primewell Valera H/T will be a perfect fit for your needs. It delivers exactly according to its promises.
As earlier mentioned, Firestone is the authorized dealer of Primewell tires in the U.S. Hence, Primewell tires warranties are also offered through Firestone. Currently, Primewell tires have two warranties. These are a manufacturer’s warranty and a limited mileage warranty.
Firestone promises to replace eligible Primewell tires, which become unserviceable due to issues caused by workmanship or materials used.
Hence, if an eligible Primewell tire is deemed unserviceable due to defects associated with workmanship or materials, Firestone will replace it with a comparable new tire.
However, Firestone doesn’t offer free replacements for the Primewell brand. Instead, it replaces all tires under this warranty on a prorated basis. Under this warranty, Primewell tires are covered for four years from their purchase date.
Firestone also promises to replace Primewell tires, if their tread wears out uniformly down to their tread maintenance indicators, without delivering the warranted mileage. Just like the manufacturer’s warranty, the replacement is done on a prorated basis under this warranty.
Primewell tires are relatively cheap when you compare them to the more established tire brands. And this makes them a great choice for drivers who own an economy car, an older model or any other driver who simply needs an affordable tire.
While Primewell tires may be within the lower price range, their quality has not been compromised. The majority of drivers who have used Primewell tires have been satisfied with how they have held up. They don’t wear out prematurely or even develop issues.
Another reason why you should consider buying Primewell tires is their reliability. Whether you buy a set of all-season tires or highway terrain tires, Primewell tires have proven beyond doubt that they are highly reliable. They deliver great traction, stellar handling and pleasant rides, whether you are driving on dry or wet roads, smooth or rough roads.
If you are looking to replace your vehicle’s tires but you are cash-strapped, then you should consider tires from this brand. They are among the most affordable tires on the market today. And the good news is, their quality is great, meaning they will serve you for long. With Primewell tires, you are assured of getting your money’s worth.

I have skated about 15-17 thousand km on this rubber for two seasons. Today put on the third season. The tread wear is minimal, I don’t know how it will show itself after this season, but it seems that the tires will still last 3-4 years)) The price was pleasant two years ago, now it’s naturally not so pleasant, but compared to others it’s good. On asphalt it goes confidently, on wet it is a little worse, but everything is stable. There is a little noise, but about the same as the summer Michelins. The quality is good, not for nothing that Orium is a subsidiary of Michelin. The sidewall is soft, and the main part is hard, because of this, I think the wear is so :)
Pros: Super price/quality, impressive durability.

Good rubber. To finish the m'yak, it is not noisy on a full drive, like a Russian armored personnel carrier tractor. In winter, bring your own robe, and a rubber top. It did not give the opportunity to hit the snow, to wind it up with the magic to go "sideways". Definitely raju.

Advantages: I got tires in 2021 rotation. Worry is minimal. Don't make noise. Chip to the maximum. Keruvannya becomes easy.
Nedoliki: Not mentioned.
