If you want to install your tires at Sam’s Club, be ready to pay $20 per tire, but that offers you one of the best tire maintenance packages you can get. The package includes a TPMS reset (TPMS kit costs $5 per wheel), new valve stems, flat repairs, lifetime rotations and balancing, a 4-year long road hazard warranty, and a 3-year long roadside assistance service.
This package also includes tire disposal which is free of charge. It does seem like Sam’s Club has got the upper hand when it comes to outright pricing, but these services are only being offered to Sam’s Club members which means that you can’t enjoy these packages if you are not a Sam’s Club member.
You can also take your car to BJ’s to install tires, and they will happily serve you for a price of $20 per tire. A BJ’s membership is required if you want to shop at BJ’s, but you can get around this if you buy the 1-day BJ’s online pass. Also, you can’t install non-BJ’s sourced tires at BJ’s and there is no way of getting around that.
If you bought your tires at BJ’s and you want them installed, you can also opt for the BJ’s installation package which includes new valve stems, flat repairs, lifetime tire rotations and balancing, inflation checks, and a 3-year long hazard warranty. TPMS kits vary depending on the type and location while tire disposal is included with the package.
How Much Does It Cost To Install Tires At Discount Tire?Discount Tire is one of the nation’s leading tire wholesalers and they also offer installation packages if you opt to buy your tires through them.

If you want to install your tires at Pep Boys, you will have to pay $29.60 per tire. Pep Boys will enable you to install tires bought from Tire Rack and Amazon. Pep Boys usually offer various discounts, coupons, and package deal which can help bring the overall price down. Obviously, it costs the most to install your tires at Pep Boys, but the worst thing is that they don’t even include a road hazard warranty at this price point.
If you want one, you will have to pay for it.

Why Should You Get Your Wheel Balanced?There are two main reasons why you would want to get your wheels balanced. For one, unbalanced wheels can cause vibration to varying degrees. Sometimes the vibration is so little you don’t really know it’s there until you get the wheels balanced. Then all of a sudden, it’s like driving a new vehicle.
Other times the vibration is as bad as an unbalanced washing machine. A high amount of vibration is not only uncomfortable but can also cause damage to your vehicle. Secondly, unbalanced wheels will most likely shorten your tires’ life span.
Tread life is only as long as the most worn-out spot on the tire.
If a wheel is unbalanced, it will no doubt wear out more on one or two places faster than the rest of the tire. Ensuring that your tires are properly balanced is key to maintaining your tires’ tread life.
The easiest way to tell if your tires are out of balance is by the aforementioned vibrations. These vibrations are often felt in three different areas, the steering wheel, the seats, and/or the floorboard. Most of the time, however, you will either feel the vibration through the steering wheel or through the seat, typically one or the other.
The area of vibration will help you determine which wheel or wheels are out of balance. If the majority of the vibrations are coming from the steering wheel, then the out-of-balance tire is most likely one of the fronts. That being said, it is a good rule of thumb to have your wheels balanced when doing routine maintenance such as tire rotations or if you get a flat tire.
How Long Does Fire Stone Take to Balance a Set of Wheels?Firestone will typically take around 45 minutes to 2 hours for all four wheels to be balanced.
Though there is a big difference between 45 minutes and 2 hours there is a good reason. It all comes down to the condition of your tires.
If you have relatively new tires then the balancing should be closer to 45 minutes, however; if the tire imbalance is due to something like hitting a pothole, the balancing process could take a longer time. Other factors that impact your wait time are; driving habits, the local climate where most of the driving is done, and the condition of the tires themselves.
