My mom asked me to do a bit of maintenance on her car while I’m home for the holidays. How do you check the tire pressure on an Infiniti G37?

Good question! To check the tire pressure on an Infiniti G37, do it manually with a tire gauge. The proper air pressure is between 33 and 35 psi.
There may be a tire gauge in the glove box. If not, you can buy one pretty cheaply at most gas stations and auto supply shops.
To use the gauge, remove the valve stem cap on a tire. Press the gauge on to the valve stem and read the number. If it’s below 33, add more air at a gas station.
Your mom is lucky to have you! She might also be interested in looking for a cheaper car insurance policy. As people get older and their driving habits change, their insurance needs change, too. Use the Jerry app to find a new policy (at a cheaper price) that works.
Good luck to you!

Did you know that the most important thing you can do to care for your tires and improve your fuel economy is to maintain the proper air pressure? Checking the tire pressure in your 2009 Infiniti G37 is relatively easy and important to do on a regular basis. Open the driver side door on your G37 and look for a sticker that indicates what the tire pressure should be. Don't use the maximum pressure indicated on the sidewall of your tires. It is best to check the tire pressure on your G37 in the morning before the car has been used or when you have driven it for less than a mile. When you drive your G37, the air inside your tires warms up and expands, so to get an accurate reading, check the tire pressure when the car has not been driven recently.
Many vehicles are equipped with a TPMS sensor in each wheel to detect the tire pressure of each tire. TPMS means tire pressure monitoring system. If your 2009 Infiniti G37 has a tire pressure light that illuminates in the dashboard when you start your vehicle, it has TPMS sensors. The TPMS light should illuminate briefly when you start your car, but then turn off afterwards. If your tire pressure light keeps coming on or the tire pressure light is blinking or flashing, then you likely have low tire pressure in your tires. For most vehicles, inflate the tires to the proper pressure and drive your vehicle a few miles and the tire pressure light will reset and turn off. TPMS sensors have batteries in them and they are mounted inside of the tire. Eventually that battery will die and the tire pressure sensor will need to be replaced in order to get the Infiniti G37 tire pressure light off.
Underinflated tires decrease the gas mileage of your G37, wear out faster and make the vehicle harder to steer, whereas overinflated tires blow out more easily, wear out faster and can cause unsafe handling dynamics. For these reasons and more – keeping your tires properly inflated on a regular basis is easy and important.

Good afternoon!
Much has been written on this subject, but nevertheless I would like to summarize. and hear the common truth if someone is 100% sure of something.
In a nutshell. I had sensors on summer wheels (after buying a car, I didn’t know about it) (when I bought it was winter)
I skated the season on winter wheels (I doubt very much that they have another pair of sensors on them). Then I put the summer ones, since there was a crack in the wheel, one went down - the sensor lit up (it means it works). Great. Inflated. The error lamp is off. I replaced the disks with new ones, since the old one was not subject to restoration. I didn’t insert new sensors - they didn’t fit (the relief of the disk did not allow) (I put the sensors in a box, in the trunk) - I skated for another two months - and then ABOUT THE MIRACLE! BURNED!
1. First question - exactly what changes do these sensors respond to?
2. Why without them (as I think) I skated all winter before and no indicators on the tidy lit up.
3. Why did I skate for another two months with them in the trunk and the light didn’t light up either?
AND THE LAST - the most essential question.
5. Is it possible to disable them altogether? so that the computer does not check the pressure, cancel the indicators, throw off the error - as you might guess, in order to continue not to use sensors at all.
The tire pressure light is annoying...I don't like it when something is wrong..
Many thanks to everyone for the help. And for wasted time!
Yura
Dear!
Can no one comment? after all, the majority of sensors
try to leave the sensors at home
I have QX56, sensors only for winter, summer assembly 100% without sensors. Last summer, the lamp was on all the time, and this year only a couple of times (it’s off at the moment), I turn on the ignition, it lights up and then goes out, that is, the system is working, but it doesn’t light up when it’s running, xs why, but apparently I understood the infection what the hell, I'll buy her sensors for the summer)))
Although, if someone adjusts a thousand for three sets, then you can put it)

Exactly!
I was thinking about this. This may be true, only it had to be done before the light bulb lit up.
In other words:
1. Sensors on wheels. Comp happy.
2. Turn off the ignition.
3. We change the wheels (remove the sensors home)
4.Start up.
Perhaps the computer does not receive any messages, neither good nor bad, and he is happy.
In my case, after the change, the sensors were in the trunk. Perhaps one of them squeaked that everything sucks. Comp yelled. And that's all. Now he is talking about an error and wants an answer that everything is fine again.
Ie stuck in a waiting state.
(but these are my personal guesses, since the operation of this system does not lend itself to any logic)
Can I reset it somehow? someone stuttered that they do it in wheel services.
Tell pliz.

I agree. Mysticism is here. What and how is not clear. Some guesses. You gentlemen have a plus in one - there are probably officials. We don’t have those in the Baltics, and therefore ... there’s no chance at all to check anything or hear an official comment.
F*ck..
