Do you ever feel tired? Maybe you feel that way right now. You can learn how to draw a tired face with the help of this easy, step-by-step cartoon drawing tutorial.
What is it like to feel tired? It means you are exhausted, fatigued, sleepy, weary, or bored. Feeling tired can be the result of physical exertion, too little sleep, or illness.
Getting plenty of rest is the antidote to feeling tired. According to the Sleep Foundation, kids need 9 to 12 hours of sleep per night, and adults need 7 to 9 hours.

Why is this important? Well, when you're tired, you may not be able to think clearly. This can affect your grades at school or make driving a car more dangerous. It can also detract from your performance in sports and other activities.
So, choose a reasonable bedtime for yourself and set an alarm clock to help you get up in the morning. Try to get the same amount of sleep every night.
Getting ample rest will help your drawing skills, and so will this tutorial! Let's get started.

1. Begin the tired face outline by using curved lines to enclose the curved, rectangular eyes. Then, shade a partial circle inside each eye.
2. Use curved lines to outline the egg-shaped upper and lower eyelids. Above each eye, use a thick curved line to draw the upturned eyebrows.
3. Use curved lines to draw the frowning, “U” shaped mouth and the nose - the bridge, nostrils, and tip.
4. Contour wrinkles around the mouth. Draw curved lines between the mouth and nose, below the corners of the mouth, and near the chin. Enclose the bottom of the mouth using a curved line, and draw another line across it to indicate the teeth.
5. Use long curved lines that meet at jagged points to draw the locks of hair falling across the forehead. Then, use curved lines to sketch the neck and cheeks.
6. Use a series of curved lines to sketch the hair on both sides of the face.
7. Draw the ears. Use curved lines to draw the irregular shapes, completely enclosing the face. Then, contour inside the ears with curved lines.
8. Draw the hair on top of the head. Use a combination of long and short lines, allowing them to meet at sharp and gentle points.
9. Complete your tired face outline by fully enclosing the hair. Again, use a series of curved lines that meet at points.
Color your cartoon tired face outline. Can you change how this character looks by altering the hair color or style?
Whatever you do, get this person a cup of coffee!

Constant haste and inability to relax is a problem of our time. Today, most people aged 25-45 experience symptoms of chronic fatigue. According to statistics, women suffering from this condition are twice as many as men. Drawing will help overcome stress. We tell you how to turn your favorite hobby into meditation.

Do not self-medicate! In our articles, we collect the latest scientific data and the opinions of authoritative health experts. But remember: only a doctor can diagnose and prescribe treatment.
Headaches, sleep problems, feeling tired even after 8 hours of sleep, irritability, depressed mood, frequent colds, reduced ability to concentrate and memory impairment - this is what a life full of tension and stress leads to.
Meditation practices are inextricably linked with yoga, which has established itself as an effective way to achieve harmony with oneself and the world around. Thanks to yoga and meditation, even an accountant during the period of submitting the annual report will be able to spend time alone and feel unattainable silence, calmness and tranquility.
But what if there is no opportunity to sign up for yoga right now? Are you doomed? Not at all! You can do art. Fortunately, today, in order to start drawing, you no longer need to leave your home: on the Internet you will find lessons, courses, and even full-fledged art schools. For many students, drawing is not only a hobby, but also a way to relax, cope with stress, recover from an illness, or regain interest in life.
The goal of painting is not a beautiful landscape or still life that can be framed and shown to guests. Much more valuable is the process, and not the result of creative work. Painting is not just a way to create something with your own hands, but also an alternative to meditation: intense immersion of consciousness in an idea, focusing on one object, moving away from external and internal stimuli.
Louise Bourgeois, an American artist of French origin, said that art is the key to mental health. And these words will be signed not only by representatives of creative professions.
Drawing helps to enter the flow state, a special mental state in which a person is completely focused and involved in what he is doing. Drawing people will confirm that at this moment even thoughts flow differently, and at times the internal dialogue stops.
Irrespective of talent or education, the very process of drawing benefits a person. Visual memory and fine motor skills improve, stress disappears, anxiety decreases. You involuntarily begin to look at things deeper, to study subjects comprehensively, the very perception of reality changes.
Even if you're doing well right now, see creativity as an investment in the future. For example, drawing is an ideal tool for working with emotions. There is an opinion that painting is an escape from reality. By allowing yourself to create several times a week, you become more emotionally stable, better focused on the problem, it is easier for you to finish what you started. By pursuing a creative hobby, you learn a particularly valuable skill: learn to perceive failure as an opportunity to create something new and unique. Even touching colors is already a sensory activity that is directly related to relaxation.
Daria Kutsaeva, artist, architect, lecturer of the Artist Online project:
“Have you watched how wet watercolor writes its stories? I love her very much for her unpredictability: sometimes she herself decides where to swim and what color to mix with in order to create something new and unusual.
Watercolor is a complex medium, but once you tame it, you start to enjoy the process immensely.
Drawing is soothing. Stroke by stroke, you apply the tone, and the picture, like an analog photograph, smoothly appears on paper. Practicing the stroke is a very painstaking work, but it helps to concentrate and solve the form here and now without unnecessary thoughts.
And work with a palette knife! Oil paints are thick and soft like dough: by adjusting the pressure on the palette knife, you can change the shape of the stroke, control the mobility of the material. And how exciting it is to mix colors, to watch how they interact with each other!
There is a fairly new direction in abstract painting - liquid acrylic. It's pure magic: colors mix and don't mix at the same time, painting space or mountains on canvas."
By drawing regularly, you will learn to enter and manage the state of flow, and you will be able to do work that you really enjoy. Creativity helps to express oneself without verbal communication, and therefore without distortion. Do you know the feeling when a picture or a piece of music gives you goosebumps, although you do not know exactly what the author wanted to say? At such moments, you communicate with him and with the universe directly.
Author: Yuri Sokolov, marketing director of the "Artist Online" school
If you experience any symptoms of fatigue, you should immediately put aside everything you are doing. Take a blank sheet of paper and start drawing any flowers you can think of. These can be existing species, and absolutely fantasy species.
Ordinary modeling will help to cope with pain. You can sculpt from plasticine, clay, plastic. The process itself is of great importance here. What exactly you will sculpt is not so important.
The feeling of anger in our time is not uncommon. You can deal with it if you just draw straight lines. If you suddenly feel sad, then take colored pencils or paints and draw a rainbow. Almost the same way you can get rid of boredom. Only in this case you need to take a blank sheet of paper and fill it with different colors.
You don't have to be an artist to draw. This type of creativity is a great way to relax and unload the brain. Drawing can also relieve nervous tension. To do this, you just need to draw any patterns. Moreover! If you suddenly forgot something and cannot remember, then drawing will help in this case too. All you need to do is start drawing an ordinary maze. In case of a feeling of acute disappointment, you can try to copy some picture. You can save yourself from despair by drawing roads, and drawing landscapes will help restore strength.
To put your thoughts in order, you need to draw honeycombs and squares. To enhance concentration, psychologists recommend drawing drawings and patterns with dots. And drawing grids and targets will help to concentrate. If you can’t get off the ground in any way, then draw spirals. And drawing waves and circles will help you find a way out of a difficult situation. Those who cannot understand their own feelings in any way should try to draw their own self-portrait.
But macrame is a great help in fighting fear. It should be noted that not everyone can weave intricate patterns from knots. Those who have never been engaged in this type of creativity should pay attention to the creation of applications from pieces of fabric. This process does not require special skills, but it acts on the psyche and emotional state very effectively.
