Your tire pressure light provides a critical reminder to restore the pressure in your vehicle's tires when it gets low.   1. Make Sure You Have the Correct Pressure

TPMS Reset Chevrolet Models

TPMS Reset Volkswagen Models

Resetting TPMS on Volkswagen differs from model to model. The reset button can be found inside the glove box or near the gear shift for old models. Once the button is found, press it for a couple of seconds until a beep is heard, then release.

TPMS Reset Mini Models

The TPMS on Mini models can be re-calibrated easily through the button as well. For old models (2002 to 2006), the reset button can be found in the emergency brake handle’s front cabin.

    How to Initialize a TPMS System - Step by Step Guide

    1. Inflate all four wheels of your Mazda CX5 to the recommended inflation pressure. For R17 tires, the recommended figure is 2.3 bar, for R19 - 2.5 bar.
    2. Insert the key into the ignition switch. Turn it to the ON position and return to LOCK. This will activate the onboard network to which the air control system is connected.
