Atv head porting how to

Cylinder Head Porting – Rage ATV Racing

We offer three different levels of porting:

This is for all multiport engines, single inducted four stroke and 2 cycle work done and priced on request.

  • Mark 1 – Recreational Porting   500.00

  • Mark 2 – Race Porting   550.00

  • Mark 3 –

    Pro Porting  650.00
  • Prices are without additional required machine work, ie guide, seat and part replacement
  • CNC Versions for the 2006 to current TRX450r and 2009 YFZ450r to current date now available!  These heads have won numerous national titles in the past two years and they are now available to you with different levels of power to suit your riding needs.

Mark 1 – $500

We may call it a rec port, but it is no slouch! We suggest this porting to anyone ranging from a trail/dune rider, to a competitive motocross racer. It is an affordable way to add some extra power to you motor without spending an arm and a leg. We typically keep the stock valve train in the head unless the cam you are running requires aftermarket valve springs.

Mark 2 – $550

This is a much more aggressive porting than the Mark 1. This is for the more serious B/A and up motocross racers as well as drag racers who are looking for big power. Depending on the ATV, we will dress it with either stock, stainless, or titanium valves  and aftermarket spring kit and guides.

Mark 3 – $650

This porting is almost identical to the Mark 2 porting except for that you will get a lot more life out of it. You would want to run this head if you have a big 60 hp or more motor that needs sturdy parts to hold up. We put in titanium valves, a CV4 spring kit and CV4 guides. We also install copper beryllium seats to enhance the longevity of the head. By the time you purchase the porting and components, you are looking at spending around $2,000 for this set-up.  Average head comes in around 900. 00 with all new parts assembled.

Keep in mind that when it comes to building a race combination that will work best for you there are many considerations.  Budget seems to be the most important to the everyday customer.  Everyone wants to go as fast as possible without spending any money.  Simply put SPEED COST MONEY, HOW FAST DO YOU WANT TO GO and make you engine live.  When you are buying more expensive machine work, most of the cost is in the valve-train and maching.  Not the porting.  If you have a specific combination that you are considering it might be better to call and get a consultation on what would work best for you.

Has anyone ever tried to port their own head? I found a cylinder head for really cheap and thought about taking a dremel to it and then wet sand it. Then polish it with wax powder to give it a real "polish"

It just seems like every port job I've seen doesn't really look polished but rather scratched on. I mean why pay $500+ for a port and polish if it isn't even polished?

Heres what Im talking about. This is ported but definitely not polished.

Polishing to a shine will actually hurt power. You want the surface to be rough. Similar to the way a turbulent air layer around a golf ball, caused by the dimples, helps it travel farther.

See page 5 under port polishing

The rough surface also helps mix the fuel into the incoming air.

you want a rougher intake port but a smooth and polished exhaust port and combustion chamber. noooooo you wanna do the opposite, you never everrr want to touch the exhaust, the intake is what you need to open up

no offence but your completly wrong... u NEVER polish a intake port, u can open up intake and exhaust but only polish exhaust ports intake must stay rough

no offence but your completely wrong...ask any somewhat knowledgable engine builder and they will tell you that the reason you cut the intake port up and make it rough is for a better air/fuel mix and better fuel atomization....they will also tell you that you done want to touch the exhaust port that much because when you open up the exhaust port you have less back pressure which in turn means less tourque

You want the intake rough to mix the fuel and air.. The exhaust smooth to let it flow better..

if this is true tell me why every major engine build that i know of in the atv industry port the exhuast side too

you only port the intake, you port AND polish exhaust..you only port intake because a lil roughness is needed to give the incoming air turbulance and help with mixing of fuel...you port and polish exhaust to allow the exhaust to exit quicker, you can only bring in as much air as you can push out (been told this numerous times by multiple builders)...and on the less back pressure equals less torque its total B.S. and untrue,if that was true then how do you actually gain torque when you run an aftermarket exhaust??

What is cylinder head porting in a car?

October 19, 2016

Auto.Today

Quite often, those who are not particularly happy with the power of a stock car start tuning it to their liking. In finalizing the engine, the main point is tuning the cylinder head. If the refinement of the cylinder head is done wisely, then the output can be plus twenty horsepower, and sometimes even more.

Video of the day

What is porting

So, cylinder head porting, what is it? Porting refers to the expansion (refining) of the intake / exhaust valves, as well as giving them the correct shape. The main goal of porting the cylinder head is to reduce the resistance of the intake port as much as possible, which will allow better filling of the cylinder and ensure that the cylinder is cleaned of exhaust gases.

What gives (why do)

Most often, porting means "porting the cylinder head channels", because the amount of work is aimed at finalizing the inlet and outlet channels of the block head. The cylinder head is responsible for the flow of air into the engine.

Porting or not is the most common thought among sports car owners. Although those who like to drive with violations of the speed limit are also engaged in porting the intake manifold.

Do you know? The more air enters the engine, the more speed the car will be able to develop.

The main stages of refinement

Before you start tuning the cylinder head, you need to carefully consider the cylinder head. It is important to have:

Inlet/outlet ports

Cylinder head modification is not possible without working with the channels, since deformation of the shape, metal, etc. can be observed in them. Grinding of the cylinder head channels is carried out using a ball cutter. The cutter will remove all irregularities and increase the passable section.

Important! It is imperative to achieve the most smooth channel bending, subject to the appropriate dimensions of curvature.

When increasing the channels, the main thing is not to overdo it, because you can touch the oil channel or the cooling channel.

Important! Boring cylinder head passages on a 16-valve engine is a very delicate and difficult task, because it is important to maintain the correct operation of the air flows.

Valves and seats

Seats and valves are repaired after the bottom plane of the cylinder head has been resurfaced and the valve guides have been repaired. The width and correct location of the saddle is checked by a valve, which will be in the saddle after the repair is completed. It is desirable that the saddles were made of bronze.

Combustion chamber

Modification of the cylinder head is not possible without changing the shape of the combustion chamber. It is necessary to go through three stages:

Reduce knocking. Improve cylinder filling. Fulfill the required conditions for optimal distribution of the mixture in the combustion chamber. Detonation will create a strong load on the rings and pistons. To determine it, you need to listen to the level of metallic sounds that will spread through the engine.

Do you know? To reduce weight and increase throughput, the valves and seats are being modified. To facilitate the valve, it is re-ground or completely re-ground.

This problem is solved as follows:

The work in the CS is reduced to a minimum; The sections of the CS are reduced to a minimum. To do this, you need to smooth the surface as carefully as possible. The last two stages, which improve the shape of the combustion chamber, are quite problematic to do on your own, since you need to have in-depth knowledge of physics in this matter.

Valve springs and tappets

Cylinder head valves are made of titanium and aluminum alloys, so they are very light, but quite fragile and expensive. Given the fragility of the valve, it is preferable to leave the factory springs and pushers.

Top 25 open world games like GTA

The first installment of the GTA franchise came out 24 years ago. It is one of the most commercially successful series of computer games. Starting with the third part, The Great Avtothief has sold millions of copies and is one of the most critically acclaimed masterpieces of the gaming industry. But does the legend really have no analogues?

The uniqueness of GTA lies in the gameplay, which from the first part combined elements of a shooter, car simulator, role-playing game and stealth. In the future, Rockstar Games did not deviate from this concept, offering an increasingly interesting and thoughtful story in a large open world, where the player is almost unlimited in movement and actions.

The milestone was without a doubt GTA III, the franchise's first 3D game. Then came the immortal Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which are still played today. The fourth part also turned out to be decent, but GTA V became the best-selling one - for 2021, the number of copies sold is 135 million. Only Minecraft has more.

If at the beginning of the 2000s the games of the series really had no analogues, today everything has changed. Many developers have learned from the experience of Rockstar Games. Although there are still no direct clones of GTA, some projects were clearly inspired by its success and are objectively very similar to their forerunner. In this material, we have collected the best representatives of the genre.

Saints Row series

Developer: Volition

Released: 2006-2017

Compared to GTA, the franchise is not as large-scale, but it is well accepted by the gaming community and widely known. In terms of gameplay, everything is about the same - there is a large open world with many characters and interactive objects. There is a main plot and additional quests, a lot of weapons and vehicles. Different parts have their own mechanics and stories, but the key characters are common to the entire series.

In Saints Row, the player assumes the role of leader of the Third Street Saints gang. Unlike GTA, the appearance of the protagonist is fully customizable. The emphasis is on the shooter component, from the second part cooperative passage is available. From the third, the plot increases dramatically in scale - aliens attack the world, and the protagonist becomes the President of the United States. From the fourth level, the trash jumps to the skies - the action takes place in hell, but the cardinal change in the setting has benefited the series. What is interesting is that Saints Row and Red Faction have one game universe.

Sleeping Dogs

Developer: United Front Games

Released: 2012

At one time, the True Crime dilogy, as they say, made a rustle. Sleeping Dogs (which was also originally developed by Activision) was supposed to be a continuation of the trilogy, but eventually grew into an independent project. From GTA there is an open world, cars, shooting. But the main emphasis is on hand-to-hand fights, and from about the middle of the game, a pure shooter becomes the main gameplay.

The protagonist of Sleeping Dogs is an undercover police officer, a master of martial arts. The action takes place in a city that is based on the real Hong Kong. The game has two features, the first is an interactive environment that can be used in fights. For example, no one bothers to grab an aquarium and smash it on the enemy's head. The second feature is that missions can be completed in different ways. For example, you can get into a protected object by persuading an NPC or hacking the security system. Plus a full upgrade of skills. Igromania called Sleeping Dogs "a better GTA game than GTA itself".

Watch Dogs series

Developer: Ubisoft Montreal

Release year: 2014, 2016, 2020

Assassin's Creed. As a result, we got a unique combination in which the mechanics of all three games are clearly visible, but they are presented on a fundamentally different level. It is based on an open world and freedom of choice, but the main feature of the game is the interaction of the protagonist with technological gadgets.

The protagonist changes depending on the part of the series, but they are all built on the concept of information warfare, and the protagonist is always a high-class hacker. The player can listen in on the phone conversations of other characters, turn off security cameras, interfere with city systems in order to outwit law enforcement officers. Missions can be completed in different ways, but it is more profitable (and plot-based) to act on stealth tactics. The plot is large-scale and high-quality - it all starts with "little pranks", and ends with saving the world from the raging AI.

Just Cause series

Developer: Avalanche Studios

Release year: 2006-2018

Just Cause is often compared to Far Cry, but Christopher Sandberg, the founder of Avalanche Studios, has repeatedly noted that his masterpiece is inspired by his team Avalanche Studios rockstar games. As a result, we have a non-trivial sandbox - an open world with absolute freedom of action, which is not limited even to a global plot.

The basis of the gameplay is a third-person shooter and car simulator. The player can fight with enemies in hand-to-hand combat, use a firearms arsenal. As in GTA, here the hero fully conquered the air element - you can take control of a helicopter or a plane, there are parachutes and gliders. Maritime transport is also plentiful. In terms of passing, the series is really similar to Far Cry, that is, you can forget about the main plot, focusing on exploring the world. The action takes place in different regions (Caribbean, Mediterranean, etc.), the core quest is always tied to the confrontation between the local army and private military groups fighting for power.

Bully

Developer: Rockstar Vancouver

Released: 2008 (PC)

Everyone has long understood that the theme of illegal actions is the main theme in the work of Rockstar. Bully offers another open world with another freedom of action. The difference from analogues is that the main character is not a hardened recidivist or a professional military man, but an ordinary school bully who grew up without a father and knows only how to steal, lie and knock out the teeth of his deskmates.

Bully is set in New England. Jimmy Hopkins is a difficult teenager who has changed more than one school. Mother recently remarried and left for a year on her honeymoon. Jimmy was left alone with the outside world, and now he needs to find his place among the local punks and school gangs. The game has a main story and a lot of side quests. The player is free to move freely around the city and do everything that he used to do in GTA. Only the weapons here correspond to the setting - a slingshot, firecrackers, a baseball bat. And from transport - bicycles, skateboards and cards.

Yakuza Series

Developer: Amusement Vision

Released: 2018-2021

A well-known series originally released for the PlayStation and Wii U. Ported to PC only began with the third part. All inputs are available - a seamless open world, crime, action, vehicle theft. The difference from analogues is the emphasis on the plot, and not on the gameplay. At the same time, starting from the third part, the game is more like an interactive movie interspersed with a brutal third-person massacre.

As you might guess, the series is dedicated to the yakuza, a distinctive form of organized crime in Japan. The protagonists in all parts are different and the plots are also different, but the hero one way or another (most often not of his own free will) begins to interact closely with all sorts of recidivists, simultaneously adopting their experience in illegal areas. The player can freely move around the city, focusing on the main story or multiple side quests. There are a lot of mini-games - golf, baseball, slot machines, underground fights. There are firearms in the game, but by analogy with Sleeping Dogs, the basis of the “combat gameplay” is spectacular hand-to-hand combat.

Crackdown 3

Developer: Sumo Digital

Released: 2019

Here it makes sense to consider not the entire franchise, but a specific game, because the third part of Crackdown is fundamentally different from the previous ones. We are offered a really large open world in a cyberpunk setting with an emphasis on gameplay typical of third-person shooters. But there are two features. First, a completely destructible environment. Secondly, free movement in three planes (a la Prototype).

The action takes place in the high-tech city of New Providence, which is ruled by the despotic corporation Terra Nova. Under the control of the player - Terry Cues (himself) in the avatar of a former military specialist, and now a fighter for freedom and democracy. As expected, there is a main plot and a host of side quests with mini-games. There are a lot of weapons of varying degrees of futurism - up to gravity grenades and beam carbines. The environment is fully interactive, for example - you can always throw a garbage can at the enemy or the body of a comrade who fell in battle. Otherwise, this is a typical shooter with simple combat and RPG elements in the style of The Elder Scrolls. That is, the more we shoot, the better we shoot.

Far Cry 5

Developer: Ubisoft Montreal

Released: 2018

Why make a new bike when the old one sells great? Following this simple syllogism, the guys from Ubisoft since Far Cry 2 (2008) have made minimal changes to the franchise's gameplay, only adapting the next part to modern requirements. But of all the games in the series, the fifth received the highest rating on Metacritic, so we'll talk about it.

The gameplay is all according to the canon - action-adventure with an open world and an emphasis on the shooter component. What distinguishes Far Cry 5 from other parts is the protagonist customization, fishing mechanics and the ability to tame wild animals (as in Primal). In terms of weapons, everything is standard - a template arsenal of firearms and piercing and cutting, but there really is a lot of transport - cars, ATVs, tractors, boats, planes. Ideologically, this is the most thoughtful part of the series, here questions of religious fanaticism and separatism are raised at a fundamentally new level. This created some problems for the game in the US and EU, however, in terms of sales in 2018, it was second only to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Red Dead Redemption 2

Developer: Rockstar Games

Released: 2019 (PC)

When it comes to open-world sandboxing, this recent masterpiece cannot go unmentioned. If there hadn't been a second part yet, we would definitely have talked about the first one, because they are almost identical in gameplay, but the first one was never ported to the PC. In general, this is a beloved GTA, transferred to the realities of the Wild West. The success of the game can be judged by the fact that in the first 2 weeks of sales, 17 million copies were sold, from which Rockstar received $ 725 million in net profit.

Set in 1899 in the fictional state of Lemoyne. The main character is Arthur Morgan, a member of Dutch's gang. The gang understands that the time of lawlessness is coming to an end, and decides to pull off the "last business" in order to retire. Naturally, everything does not go according to plan, and then the plot of the game is worthy of a quality book series. The development of the world and the atmosphere of the Wild West in RDR2 is beyond praise, while even the side quests are not the same type and really interesting (here some catch the analogy with the third Witcher). There are plenty of era-appropriate weapons in the game, from classics like the Peacekeeper and Springfield to Native American longbows and tomahawks. An interesting point - the physics of the character's movements reminded many players of the Dark Souls series, and this is an intentional feature of the gameplay.

The Saboteur

Developer: Pandemic Studios

Released: 2009

This project is known for many reasons, it is called the Pandemic Studios swan song, because after the release of the game the company ceased to exist. But The Saboteur is hardly to blame for this, because the game turned out to be commercially successful, and so far it is the only full-fledged sandbox in a historical setting on the theme of World War II.

The protagonist of The Saboteur is Irishman Sean Devlin, a professional race car driver and mechanic participating in the Grand Prix in Saarbrücken (a real German city on the border with France). There is no point in spoiling the plot, because it is really on the level, and the characters turned out to be very emotional. It is more interesting that Devlin, who eventually becomes a French resistance fighter, has a real historical prototype - William Gruver, also a racer, and part-time agent of French intelligence. As for the gameplay, we have before us a furious mixture of GTA and Assassin's Creed in the realities of German-occupied France. The game is incredibly atmospheric, while the player is not constrained by the plot and is free to move around the map, completing secondary missions.

Mafia III

Developer: Hangar 13

Released: 2016

The first two parts are dearly loved by oldfags for everything except the absolute linearity of the narrative. And there was no open world. In the third part, it is, as side quests and everything for which we love GTA and similar series. That is why the third Mafia got into our top.

Technically, this is not a sandbox, but an action-adventure game with a third-person view (a bit of roleplaying, a lot of action). Feature - a large and thoughtful city to the smallest detail, recreated on the basis of New Orleans in the 60s. Outside of story missions, the player can ride around the city in cars and boats, engaging in illegal racing, racketeering, and other indecencies. In parallel, he develops his own criminal empire, entering into alliances and unleashing wars with other groups.

The Godfather: The Game

Developer : EA Redwood Shores

Release year : 2006

Game adaptation of the famous film franchise The Godfather. The Godfather: The Game does not follow the plot of the original films. She tells the story of the rise to the mafia Olympus of the young gangster Aldo Trapani. However, in the process of passing you will meet many characters familiar from the tapes of Francis Ford Coppola, including Vito Corleone himself.

Despite the mafia theme, the gameplay of The Godfather: The Game is more reminiscent of the games of the GTA series than Mafia. It's a big open world (1940s New York), but it gives the player more options to do crazy things and customize the character. Despite the fact that the game is already 16 years old, it still looks and plays quite well.

Scarface: The World is Yours

Developer : Radical Entertainment

Year releases : 2006

2006 was rich in adaptations of gangster classics. Just a few weeks after the release of The Godfather: The Game, Scarface: The World is Yours, a game adaptation of Scarface, saw the light of day.

The plot of Scarface: The World is Yours is an alternate sequel to the original film. The game assumes that Tony Montana (Al Pacino's hero) did survive the final shootout in his mansion, after which he lay low. In the game you have to return him to the top of the criminal Olympus.

The game is ideal for all fans of GTA: Vice City. Once again, you can warm up your sides on the sunny beaches of Florida and cut through the main streets of Miami in a sports car. Even the dark blue costume of the main character will not let you get bored with Tommy Vercetti.

L.A. Noire

Developer : Team Bondi

Year Released : 2011

L.A. Noire is one of the best detective games of its generation. But where is the detective, and where is the GTA?

Finding the answer is easy enough, you just have to look at the publisher of the game. For Rockstar Games, not putting GTA mechanics into their game is like not making a game. Therefore, in addition to a great story and breakthrough facial animation in L.A. Noire we have a fairly large open 1940s Los Angeles.

Of course, the game will not allow you to arrange a bloody madness, because you play as a policeman, but it is quite possible to have fun driving a Buick around Hollywood of the golden era.

Rustler

Developer : Jutsu Games

Release year : 2021

The very idea of Rustler sounds pretty crazy: it's an isometric GTA, like the first two parts of the franchise, in a medieval setting. The developers themselves even gave the game the informal name Grand Theft Horse (great horse thief).

The game inherited from GTA not only isometry, but also the mood. Rustler is a game full of crazy action and humor. You have to participate in knightly duels, hunt witches and simply bring chaos to the quiet life of a medieval village.

American Fugitive

Developer : Fallen Tree Games Ltd

Release year : 2019

Another game clearly inspired by the first GTA games. And, unlike Rustler, it has the same setting. The main character is unfairly accused of killing his father and put in jail. But the protagonist is not so simple - he escapes from there and resolutely goes in search of the truth, simultaneously committing crimes for several life sentences.

There are many different vehicles available in the game, including even military ones. And the main game mechanics of American Fugitive will be robberies (not as detailed as in GTA V, but also quite interesting).

In general, the game is unlikely to captivate you for hundreds of hours, but it is quite capable of evoking touching nostalgia for isometric GTA.

Total Overdose

Developer : Deadline Games

Release year : 2005

Total Overdose is an insanely fun open world action game. Actually, the game has two things in common with the GTA series: cars in an open city and fun.

Your main task in Total Overdose is to make the most of the madness on the streets of a Mexican town. To do this, the character has special tricks. Time slowdown, time rollback, “bull runs” (the hero simply puts his mug forward and runs, knocking down enemies along the way) and much more.

At the same time, the game does not rely on the plot at all - it is here, but only for show. The only thing that matters about Total Overdose is pure insanity.

Age has greatly affected the appearance of the action. However, such uncomplicated and endlessly fun games are practically not made now, and therefore Total Overdose is still perceived very curiously today.

Prototype series

Developer : Radical Entertainment

Release year : 2007, 2010

The Prototype can be described as a "GTA about superhumans". The plot of both games in the series is as follows: the protagonist accidentally becomes infected with a certain virus, which gives him invulnerability to bullets, as well as inhuman strength and endurance. In the course of the development of the plot, the hero develops his skills and tries to find out how and for what he got all these abilities.

Prototype takes place in New York, completely open to exploration. The hero cannot use the technique in this case. But why do you need technology if you have superpowers? You can run on walls, jump on the roofs of skyscrapers, or even flutter in the air like a bee.

The original game has gone through several remasters and even made it to PS5.

inFamous Series

Developer : Sucker Punch Productions

Year Released : 2009, 2011, 2014

Series of games released exclusively for the PlayStation. inFamous largely repeats Prototype both in terms of plot and gameplay: you again try on the role of a hero who accidentally received superpowers. And in each game they are different: the protagonist from the original strikes enemies with electricity, and his successor from the sequel distributes it with the help of smoke and neon flashes.

At the same time, inFamous has its own "trick" - the character's karma. Absolutely all your actions will directly affect the development of the plot to such an extent that the "evil" and "good" characters will see two different endings.

Marvel's Spider-Man

Developer : Insomniac Games

Year Released : 2018

And another representative of the GTA about superhumans genre. Only now you will play not for some superheroes invented by the scriptwriters of the game, but for the time-tested Spider-Man.

Flying on the web, you can explore the open world of New York. At the same time, the virtual "Big Apple" here is not just big, but simply huge - the size of the game map has become the largest among all the studio's games. Because this game world will definitely not let you get bored!

The Simpsons: Hit & Run

Developer : Radical Entertainment

Release year : 2003

The most fun and cute GTA-like game. The adaptation of the legendary series invites players to immerse themselves in the completely open world of their almost native Springfield. You can explore in detail the Simpsons' house, Flanders (it doesn't shrink in the game!), Moe's Tavern, Kwik-E-Mart and other favorite locations in the free world. That would be enough already, but The Simpsons: Hit & Run also has gameplay!

And he's not bad at all. Most of the tasks will be related to driving vehicles, of which there are more than fifty in the game. Shootouts, of course, will not take place on the streets of Springfield, but the passage of The Simpsons: Hit & Run will obviously not spoil this for you.

Cyberpunk 2077

Developer : CD Projekt RED

Year release : 2020

The most notorious contender for the title of "GTA killer" in recent years. And although Cyberpunk 2077 failed to become a “killer”, the game took its rightful place in the lists of “top games that everyone should play”.

You have to explore the huge city of the future Night City, which came from somewhere in cyberpunk works of the last century. Together with the hero, you will choose your side and lead the city to a bright or not so bright future.

The game has in common with the GTA series a huge open world and a lot of available equipment. At the same time, the RPG component is very developed in Cyberpunk 2077: throughout the game you will upgrade both your character and his weapons.

APB Reloaded

Developer : Reloaded Productions

True Crime series

Developer : Luxoflux

Year releases : 2003 and 2005

The recipe for the True Crime series can be described as follows: take the genius off the head and get off Rockstar San Andreas.

If in GTA we play as a representative of the world of crime, then in True Crime we have to fight this world. But do not think that it will prevent us from violating all possible laws along the way and causing chaos in the city - we beat the bandits with their own methods.

There are two True Crime parts in total. The events of the first unfolded in Los Angeles, and the second - in New York. At the same time, the sequel was marked by very poor sales and devastating reviews from critics, after which Activision decided to curtail the series.

Driver: San Francisco

Developer : Ubisoft Reflections

Year Released : 2011

Driver: San Francisco is actually an arcade car simulator. But it is impossible not to include in this collection for the spirit of the GTA series.

In the game you have to ride all over San Francisco and complete many main and side quests from the most non-trivial characters. To change cars, you do not have to drive to some garage, as in other, more conservative car simulators.
