Brown Mountain’s ATV trails are located in the Pisgah National Forest in Morganton. This ATV park in NC is extremely popular and gets packed during weekends. The area offers 34 miles of trails for ATVs, 4x4s, and dirt bikes. The trails are mostly easy to moderate, but their Black Diamond Trail proves to be a challenge.
If you plan on visiting this trail, keep an eye out for a gas station along Collettsville Rd. Its general store sells the $5-permit for the OHV area.
One of the most exciting ATV trails in N.C brings you through the Smoky Mountains of Asheville. The trail runs 70 miles along Boone and Asheville in NC and Abingdon and Damascus in Virginia. With such a scenic view, you can’t help but make several stops to appreciate the landscape. (Don’t worry, they have restrooms along the way too. )

Some of the most exciting ATV trails in North Carolina can be found in the Uwharrie National Forest. It has a 20-mile route for all kinds of OHVs with stream crossings, rocky ruts, and hill climbs. It also has a moderate 9-mile long trail, sometimes called Badin Lake OHV, that passes by a river.
While you can’t go camping in the trail system itself, several campgrounds are in the forest. Some are primitive camping grounds, but some have amenities.
If you find yourself here, it may be worth visiting the nearby cities. Crossroads Yamaha-Suzuki-Polaris is one of the most popular ATV dealers in NC. It is 6 miles from Uwharrie National Forest to the west, in Albemarle. Meanwhile, if your way home is to the east, Advance Auto Parts is 5 mins in Troy.
This ATV trail in NC is also found in a forest. The Wayehutta OHV Trail System is located in the Nantahala National Forest in Franklin. You will find 28 miles of loop trails cutting across the lush forest, featuring bridge crossings and a hidden waterfall. There are trails for beginners, but the difficult ones can get very rocky.
Once you’re done for the day, you can settle down in their gazebo and have a picnic. The trail system is open for everyone, as long as your vehicle is no wider than 62″.

One of the big ATV parks in NC is 100 miles of tracks in BMMS in Taylorsville. The longest track is 25 miles long, designated for more experienced off-roaders. ATVs, motorbikes, and dirt bikes are welcome in the park from Fridays to Sundays, but members can also come on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

This area out back in Laurinburg is a family and beginner-friendly park. While the tracks are relatively shorter than other trails, it still packs quite an adventure. Sandpits and ponds, woods, and a riverbank – you will have a lot to see. Depending on when you go, there are charity events, concerts, or motocross and ATV events.

The Adamant ATV Riders operate Deep Creek ATV Park in Linden, NC. The area is sandy with mud bogs, and there is a water-filled tunnel on the trail. Aside from being an ATV park, the area doubles as an event place. They hold off-road rally races, paintball events, and concerts. You can enjoy ATV riding in NC with your pet too! Deep Creek allows pets as long as you look and clean after them.
You can enjoy ATV trails in NC near the coastline too! While Cape Fear ATV/MX Park in Elizabethtown is located in the woods, it is only an hour away from Carolina Beach.
In the woods trail, you will encounter some ponds, mud bogs, and sandpits. There are some jumps along the way as well. If you feel like sticking to a smaller area, they have a motocross track and a drag strip. After a great day of off-roading, you can go fishing or swimming to unwind.
Enjoy the pine and oak trees of Havelock by riding on the trails of Croatan National Forest. The Black Swamp OHV Area has 8 miles of ATV trails fit for motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATVs, and UTVs no wider than 50″. The terrain is mostly flat land, but you may encounter mud bogs during rainy weather. Camping is allowed, and there are some vendors in the area.
Busco Beach and ATV Park is a highly recommended ATV park in Goldsboro, garnering several awards over the years. Their day pass allows you to access 2000 acres of hard-packed trails, hill climbs, mud pits, and water crossings. The Neuse River borders the area, and they have a lake where you can go swimming and fishing.

While you are invited to ride the mountain in Taylorsville, you are invited to “experience the Down N Dirty” in the Carolina Backwoods of Ash, NC. With play pits, mud pits, and water crossings, you will have a truly immersive experience. Take note: you need to join their tour or be an overnight guest to access their trails, and you may only use the rental vehicles on site. Their tours take between an hour and a half up to 2 hours.

This system of trails for ATVs in the Mytishchi district, Nagornoye village, 2 km from the Moscow Ring Road, offers excellent opportunities for family skiing. The trails are a combination of old roads and trails that have been combined to form this interconnected ski area.
ATV trailsWhile these trails will appeal to any cyclist, they are especially good for beginners and families looking for easy, relaxing riding conditions.
Passing through thickets, fords and swamps, much of the trail is heavily wooded, and the trails pass through mountains that offer breathtaking views for miles.
Many campsites are conveniently located along the trail, both privately owned with all amenities and state-owned with limited amenities.
The Safari Trail varies quite a lot in altitude: the difference between the lowest and highest points of the trail is over 6,000 kilometers.
This means that there may still be snow on higher points in spring and early summer. But in summer, the higher places are ideal for skiing, while the lower places will be too hot.
The best season for skiing is autumn, when temperatures drop a bit and the fall foliage begins to change.
The main loop can be completed in about 25 hours, but it's best to spend a few days on this amazing trail system to experience all that this amazing area has to offer.
Length: 700 kilometers of trails + 500 kilometers of roads
Moscow, 9th Northern Line, 1k3, with over 100,000 hectares of pristine wilderness, is a paradise for cyclists. Lush forests, beautiful mountains, hills and deep canyons create amazing scenery with trails for motorcyclists of all skill levels.
ATV trailsCity, forest and historical sites are all great starting points for a Quad tour.
There are many motels/boarding houses in the area with direct access to the trails, as well as quad bike rentals, making trail travel very easy.
Moscow is an ATV-friendly city and OHV operators can drive on most roads if they have a driver's license and the ATV is registered. Of course, major motorways are prohibited.

The trails of the Moscow region are widely recognized as one of the best trail systems in Russia, and it's easy to see why.
With over 700 kilometers of well marked trails, friendly quad towns and skiing for all skill levels, you can spend weeks exploring this region and never run out of options.
Currently, this route consists of 10 separate sections, and in the next few years it is planned to increase the number of kilometers.

Is it fair that there are so many epic ATV trails in the suburbs? No, they are not, but at least we can all enjoy them. Despite the fact that Bezdorozhye Trade is only a couple of hours drive from Krasnogorsk, you will not encounter large crowds of people.
ATV routesThis extensive trail system covers 350,000 hectares of land with 600 kilometers of trails plus over 1,000 kilometers of Forest Service roads.
This trail system has many routes for full size vehicles such as Jeeps and SxS, as well as routes for ATVs with a wheelbase of less than 50 inches.
There are several loops of varying lengths and the trails are all interconnected, so you can easily spend a few days without doing the same route twice.
Due to the high altitudes on this route, snow cover is possible until June, so plan your trip between July and mid-October. This is a high desert region, so summers will be hot even at high altitudes. Plan your trip early in the fall for ideal skiing conditions.
Moscow Drive will run over 100 kilometers along the ridge of the Moscow region, offering stunning views in all directions. Korolev mixed route extreme.
This 112-kilometer corridor is a quad biking paradise.
The City of Queens loves ATVs and ATVs so much that it allows OHVs to be driven on all city streets. Several tracks start in the city, so you can enter the track directly from the city.
There are hundreds of kilometers of trails and ATV roads in Korolev, surrounded by 12 of the highest mountain peaks in the Moscow region.

Korolev is also surrounded by mountains and forests with easy access to miles of ATV trails in the area.

This popular ATV gathering offers a variety of routes, from scenic to challenging, to suit all tastes.
Undoubtedly, the large open spaces in the west provide more opportunities for quad biking and 4 x 4.
But do not despair! If you live in Central Russia, you can still find many great places to ride. See Pine Forest in the northern district of the Moscow region, where there are over 1,000 interconnected ATV trails.
All cities in the Sosnovy Les track system in the northern district of the Moscow Region s are ATV friendly and allow ATVs on city roads for easy access to gasoline, food and housing.
This also makes it easy to move between different sections of the route without a trailer. Plan a trip for the first two weeks of October and you will be amazed by the amazing autumn leaf fall of the Moscow region. In addition, there are many wild animals in the area, including moose, so be sure to bring your camera.
One of the great things about this track is that it was built by 11 local ATV clubs. With perseverance and determination, they built this track system for everyone and financed it with funds raised by the clubs and grants. Taxpayer money was not used.
300 kilometers of ATV trails and multipurpose roads beckon you north to central Washington state.
Trails connect several cities including Mytishchi, Zvenigorod, Balashikha, Podolsk, Khimki, Zelenograd, Korolev, Lyubertsy, Krasnogorsk, Odintsovo, Domodedovo, Kolomna, Serpukhov, Schelkovo, Pushkino. along city streets, which is quite rare in Russia.
No need for a trailer - drive out of the motel and onto the trails. Dense forests, many lakes, hills and mountains await you.
Moscow Region, Troitskoye, KSK Sharapovo hosts a popular gathering of ATVs, which organizes exciting trips, as well as activities, including poker and scavenger hunts.
This 750-kilometer loop in the region can be made as a multi-day trip with an overnight stay or broken into smaller sections. You can stay at a campsite or motel with many small towns along the way.
This route passes through remote deserts, and part of the way passes through the mountains outside of Zvenigorod which are at a higher altitude where snow falls in winter.
So, from extreme deserts to snow-capped mountains, this route is not for the inexperienced or poorly prepared.
The largest OHV-roads system in Kolomna. This system of off-road tracks in the north-west of the Kolomna district of the Moscow region. Friendly area to quad bikes and allow movement on quad bikes on city streets, with the exception of main highways.
The route is 250 kilometers long and offers 16 interconnected loops.
The eastern route is 360 kilometers. Most of the trails are 4-35 km from the city center and can be reached without a trailer.
And 188 kilometers of ATV trails, 962 km of roads and 33 km of solo trails - what else can you not love. It's quite a remote wilderness, but only a 40-minute drive from the Moscow region, which by the standards of Mytishchi is a fairly large city - a population of 180,000 people.
