1. Only at monstertyres you decide what price you pay. How does it work?
At monstertyres every client can make his own price for the used tyres. You pay the least if you buy the whole Contingent of used tyres. Then you�ll get 10 % discount of the normal price. The more choosy you are, the more you pay for the tyres. Between 80 and 99 % you pay the normal price, see prices. If you take less than 80 % of a contingent you anyway pay 80 %. The reason for this rule is that our prices are average prices per tire. This means, you always pay the same price for each tire in the contingent.
Our standard price applies, when the customer buys more than 80% of a contingent.
Our best price applies, when the customer buys a whole contingent
Our flexible price applies, when the customer buys less than 80% of a complete tire mixture (contingent).

4. What tires do I have to take? What does contingent mean? What is the 80%-rule?
We sell tires only in contingents. A contingent at monstertyres is a mix of many different tire sizes. The amount of tires of a particular size varies from contingent to contingent. At monstertyres it is not possible to buy only 3 or 4 or a few selected tire sizes. We only supply tires to customers that are able to buy many tire sizes marked as "popular" in the inquiry assistant. You can get an idea about which tire sizes are included in a contingent by visiting our export price page or by sending us an export inquiry. Our virtual assistant (Monty) helps you with this. For customers that regularly buy greater amounts of tires, we can arrange contingents according to their requirements: A contingent usually contains 20-30 different tire sizes. In that case you always get our best price.
As mentioned, a monstertyres contingent comprises of 20-30 different tire sizes, depending on the quality selected.

26. How do I make an order / what are the terms of payment?
Once you have sent an inquiry with our Export Inquiry Assistant we will send you an offer. If this offer is acceptable to you and you would like to order the tires then you have to send a confirmation mail and proceed according to our terms of payment. We will send you a mail with our bankdetails.
Terms of Payment:
An order will be confirmed once an advance payment of 20% on the total price, listed in our offer to you, has been transferred to our firm account. Please fax us the fund transfer slip you receive from your bank as proof and the tires will be reserved for you.
The remaining 80% of the funds then have to be transferred onto our account by the date of loading of the tires.
Exception: If you request to get the tires tripled, then the remaining 80% of the funds have to be transferred by the time tripling begins.

do they meet the uk part worn tyre law? This includes:
Part Worn Tyres and the Law
Under The Motor Vehicle Tyres (Safety) Regulations 1994 (reg.7.) which are part of the Consumer Protection Act, it is an offence for anyone to sell part worn tyres that do not meet the following principal requirements:
The structural integrity must not be compromised.
It should be free of large cuts, any bulges or lumps both internally and externally.
No plies or cords should be exposed.
Tyres must have passed an inflation test prior to sale.
The original grooves must still be clearly visible in their entirety and must be to a depth of at least 2mm across the full breadth of the tread, around its entire circumference.
Part worn tyres which have not been re-treaded must clearly show the relevant ‘E’ mark alongside which ‘PART-WORN’ must be permanently and legibly applied in letters at least 4mm high.
These words cannot be hot branded or cut into the tyre.
Part-worn tyres that have been re-treaded must have one of the following:
BS AU 144b, 144c, 144d, or 144e markings on the side wall (if first supplied as a re-tread on or before 31 December 2003 an ECE approval mark (if first supplied as a re-tread on or after 1 January 2004)
A permanent mark to identify the original model and manufacturer, the word ‘RETREAD’ moulded onto or into its sidewall (in upper case letters at least 4mm high) and further markings in accordance with ECE rules.
You may need to seek further advice as to which rules apply
The indication ‘PART WORN’ must also appear next to the BS or ECE approval mark, or next to the word ‘RETREAD’
For tyres marked BS AU 144e, a speed category symbol and load capacity marking should be present.
A tyre has to comply with all these requirements whether or not it is fitted to a rim.

Our used tires are located in our warehouse in 51469 Bergisch Gladbach, near Cologne, Germany. 4. Which tires should I buy? What is a contingent? What is the 80% rule?
We only sell tires in contingents. The contingent is a mix of used tires, which includes many different tire sizes and qualities. If you buy tires from us, then this is always a contingent, the number of sizes in which varies from time to time. Therefore, you cannot buy only 3-4 tire sizes. We cooperate with companies that are able to buy many different tire sizes (of those listed as popular). You can see how these contingents look approximately in the price menu, or when requesting tires. Our virtual assistant Monty will help you with this. For customers who often and a lot of orders, we can offer to make contingents in accordance with the wishes of the client (20-30 sizes).
In this case, our customers receive our best price. According to our rules, the client always pays 80% of the tires if he falls short of 80%. This is our so-called dynamic price. Thus, having chosen 2000 pieces from a contingent of 2500 pieces, you pay exactly for 80% of the tires that you have chosen. By choosing 1800 pieces, that is 72% of 2500 pieces, but in this case you pay as much as 80%. Thus, choosing tires you determine the price yourself. 9top
7. Why do you only sell tire mixes?
1.) We want to sell first of all the cheapest, but not save on service and quality. If we were selling individual tire sizes, we would need 10 times more storage space than we do now. 2.) In addition to exporting, we are engaged in the collection and processing of tires. Therefore, we cannot choose between profitable and not very profitable tires, and we must take everything. It follows from this that we should make tire contingents from more interesting and requested tires and less popular ones.

You do not have to pay VAT if
1) your company is registered in the European Union and has a valid identification number. To do this, we need your business address, registered name and legal form. 25. Does monstertyres export tires or do I have to organize the export myself?
We deliver the goods on the condition of pickup from the warehouse. (EXW). Despite this, we are exporters of tires. We will arrange all customs paperwork so that you can send tires from the European Union to your desired destination. If you are in the European Union as a private or legal person, then you have the right to independently export tires. In this case, we can handle all customs paperwork on your behalf. 9top
26. How to place an order? / How to pay?
If your request was made using our online assistant, you will definitely receive our offer. If, after receiving our offer, you are interested in purchasing tires, then you need to send a confirmation to us so that we, in turn, inform you about the terms of payment. You will receive an email from us containing our bank details.
Payment terms:
The order will be reserved and prepared only after the transfer to our account of an advance payment in the amount of 20% of the total cost of the goods. To do this, we will need a fax confirmation from your bank confirming the successful transfer of money.
The remaining 80% of the total cost of the goods you pay before the day of loading.
The exception is for orders for triple tires (3 in 1), which must be paid in full, just before the start of the trip.

Under The Motor Vehicle Tires (Safety) Regulations 1994 (reg. 7.) which are part of the Consumer Protection Act, it is an offence for anyone to sell part worn tires that do not meet the following principal requirements:
The structural integrity must not be compromised.
It should be free of large cuts, any bulges or lumps both internally and externally.
No plies or cords should be exposed.
Tires must have passed an inflation test prior to sale.
The original grooves must still be clearly visible in their entirety and must be to a depth of at least 2mm across the full breadth of the tread, around its entire circumference.
Part worn tires which have not been re-treaded must clearly show the relevant ‘E’ mark alongside which ‘PART-WORN’ must be permanently and legibly applied in letters at least 4mm high.
These words cannot be hot branded or cut into the tire.
Part-worn tires that have been re-treaded must have one of the following: an ECE approval mark (if first supplied as a re-tread on or after 1 January 2004)
A permanent mark to identify the original model and manufacturer, the word 'RETREAD' molded onto or into its sidewall (in upper case letters at least 4mm high) and further markings in accordance with ECE rules. 0323 The indication ‘PART WORN’ must also appear next to the BS or ECE approval mark, or next to the word ‘RETREAD’
For tires marked BS AU 144e, a speed category symbol and load capacity marking should be present.
A tire has to comply with all these requirements whether or not it is fitted to a rim.

Multinational corporations prioritize maintaining consumer confidence in the brand. Therefore, they prefer the same technological processes and consumables.
China was the largest manufacturer and exporter of tires in the Russian Federation, however, after anti-dumping duties were introduced in 2015, deliveries began to be made by Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. Transportation of tires from the above countries is carried out by sea. Products are transported in containers.
Due to poor quality indicators of road surfaces, rapid wear of rubber occurs. In this regard, the demand for them is stable. The main share is represented by parts for passenger vehicles, followed by bicycle tires and after already for trucks. These products are not only imported by Russia, but also exported.
Sea transportation is one of the most optimal ways to move products from any remote country. When delivering by water vessels, a lot of advantages can be noted.
First of all, it is worth noting the savings due to low tariffs, as well as the possibility of simultaneously moving large volumes of goods. Secondly, by using containers for the delivery of wheels, it is possible to protect goods from a number of external factors. Thirdly, there is no need for repacking if a change of vehicles is planned.
To determine the number of tires that can be transported in a container at a time, it is worth proceeding from their diameter, width and profile height. These products can be transported by placing them on pallets, but their shape is specific, and therefore there is a lot of empty space. Most often, when laying tires, they resort to a "herringbone", an option that implies the location of the product at an angle of 30. This solution is the most appropriate. Due to the tight packing, there is practically no free space, which allows you to place a large amount of products.
Packaging before transportation is not performed. However, if necessary, the products are wrapped in special paper or plastic sheeting. To pack or not is a condition that is prescribed in the agreement.
In most cases, unified universal containers are used to deliver tires for trucks and cars.
If we are talking about large-sized tires (they are used for special equipment) and have dimensions that exceed the height parameter of standard containers, then Open Top containers are used. In such structures, an awning cover is used instead of a roof.
Upon arrival at the port of the Russian Federation, the containers are sent to the terminal. Here they are temporarily stored and transshipped. Tires are delivered from the ports to the final destination by vehicles. Transshipment is carried out on trailers or semi-trailers of container ships. These vehicles allow transporting sea containers on highways. Their platforms hold a pair of 20ft or one 40ft container.
Trucking, in this case, refers to the final stage of the multimodal scheme. If the tires are delivered in a batch (as a general cargo), then the movement to the final destination is carried out by trucks.
