The struggle of those who live near the forest, and those who ride in the forest, only intensifies.
From rescue equipment, ATVs have turned into mass entertainment. Dissatisfied residents began to use the methods of guerrilla struggle.
In the suburbs, they are looking for intruders who have stretched steel wire between trees in the forest. Local residents have discovered at least six such deadly traps. One of them was run into by a quad bike driver, and it almost ended in tragedy.
Jagged wounds of the mouth, cheeks, five knocked out teeth, broken jaw - this is how the family quad bike ride ended for Alexei.
"The stretch hit the lower part, and it was cut. The fishing line passed directly at such an angle ... it cut off the armrest, hit the arm and bottom of the chin, the helmet flew away, and the wire touched the face," says injured Andrey Ignatov.
The helmet saved his life. A thirteen-year-old niece was traveling with Alexei - the cable almost ricocheted into her head. The girl was psychologically traumatized.

"We didn't have any conflict situations with the residents... This is an attempt on a person's life. We would like the guilty to be found," says Tatyana Kizilova, the victim's wife.

"A statement was received from a local resident to prosecute citizens who pulled metal cables in the forest near the village of Plaskinino. An investigation is underway into this fact," Andrey Pyshkin, spokesman for the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow Region, said.
While the forest partisans were not found, the residents organized patrols, it is possible that not all the tripwires were found.
