Learn how to reset the tire pressure warning system on your Toyota Camry with these steps.


Note: If you are experiencing problems where the tire pressure warning light is lit when it shouldn’t be, be sure to check the pressure in all 5 tires. That includes the spare!

2018-2022 Models

  1. With the vehicle parked, start the engine.
  2. Adjust the tire pressure to the manufacturer suggested PSI. A label with this information is located inside the door panel.
  3. Select ⚙️ on the touchscreen or select ⦿ on the steering wheel (depending on model).
  4. Select  or “Vehicle Settings” (depending on model), then select “OK“.
  5. Navigate to “TPWS” > “Set Pressure“.
  6. Press and hold the “OK” button. The TPMS light on the instrument panel will flash 3 times.
  7. Drive straight at approximately 25mph or more for about 10 to 30 minutes.

2015-2017 Models

  1. Adjust the tire pressure to the manufacturer suggested PSI. A label with this information is located inside the door panel.
  2. Turn the ignition on. For push button models press the Engine Start button two times without holding the brake.
  3. Locate the tire pressure reset switch located below and to the right of the steering wheel (on instrument panel, knee bolster or inside glove box).
  4. Press and hold the switch until the tire pressure light flashes 3 times.
  5. Drive straight at approximately 25mph or more for about 10 to 30 minutes.

2013-2014 Models

Models of the Toyota Camry that are year 2013 and 2014 and earlier do not have a reset button for the Tire Pressure Warning System. The system works automatically. Inflate the tires to the recommended pressure, then drive the vehicle straight at approximately 25mph or more for about 10 to 30 minutes.


2007-2012 Models

  1. With the vehicle parked, switch the ignition to “LOCK” or “OFF” for vehicles with a smartkey.
  2. Adjust the tire pressure as desired. Preferably you will want to adjust it to the recommended pressure for cold temperatures.
  3. Switch the ignition to “ON“.
  4. Locate the tire pressure reset switch located below and to the right of the steering wheel (on instrument panel, knee bolster or inside glove box). Press and hold the switch until the tire pressure light flashes 3 times.
  5. Drive straight at approximately 25mph or more for about 10 to 30 minutes.
