Universal digital bus adapter is designed to connect ZONT thermostats and controllers to gas and electric boilers operating on OpenTherm, E-BUS, BridgeNet (Ariston), BSB (Baxi), Navien, Daesung* digital protocols - check if the bus is available in a specific model boiler can be found in Boiler Compatibility with ZONT.

The set of operational parameters of the digital bus of the boiler available for reading and the display of their values in the ZONT service depends on the brand and model of the boiler. Monitored:
In the event of errors and alarms in the boiler, the digital bus adapter reads error codes.
When controlled via a digital bus, the thermostat or controller does not turn the burner on and off, but constantly and smoothly changes (modulates) the combustion power by changing the temperature of the coolant, adapting it to the actual heat loss of the room.
This control method prolongs the life of the boiler and reduces energy costs.
When a malfunction or an accident of the boiler is detected, ZONT transmits information in the chosen way (through the personal account of the web service, notification to the mobile application, calls, SMS).
Features of the universal adapter:
Important! Not all boilers of the above manufacturers work on the digital bus. Check the compatibility of a specific model with ZONT equipment in the Compatibility of boilers with ZONT section (go to the section).
When using the adapter with ZONT heaters:
- you are sure that your boiler is working;
- use flexible settings to create a comfortable indoor climate;

Attention! The presence in the boilers of the inscription "OpenTherm" does not guarantee operation via the digital bus, it is necessary to check the list of boilers checked and read by ZONT.
To connect the adapter to some BAXI boilers, connector MHU-02 is required, is purchased separately (not available in the online store assortment). For a list of models that require and do not require a connector, see here.

For the correct operation of the boiler control algorithm via digital bus, it is recommended to set the maximum modulation level in the boiler service menu. You can remotely limit the modulation from the personal account of the ZONT web service, by reducing it as a percentage of the value set by the settings. This function does not work on all boilers, so sometimes a situation arises when the modulation level can be limited only by the boiler controls.
The adapter is connected to a special connector on the electronic board of the heating boiler.
In order to correctly determine the connection point, carefully read the documentation for the boiler or contact the technical support of the heating equipment manufacturer.

Designed for digital bus data exchange by an electric or gas boiler that supports one of the digital interfaces:
● OpenTherm (standard digital interface for gas and some electric boilers)
● E-Bus (original digital interface for Vaillant and Protherm boilers)
● BridgeNet (original digital interface for Ariston Net series boilers)
● Navien (original digital interface for Navien boilers)
● BSB (Siemens boiler interface for BAXI LUNA Platinum+ and BAXI LUNA Duo-tec MP/MP+ boilers). To connect the adapter to some BAXI boilers (ECO 4s, ECO 5 COMPACT, ECO FOUR, ECO Home, FOURTECH, MAIN-5, MAIN FOUR), an MHU-02 connector is required (purchased separately)
Functionality of the universal digital bus adapter ECO
The following are monitored: Features of use it is recommended to set the maximum values for the temperature of the coolant and hot water on the boiler. Installation is carried out through the service menu of the boiler.
Turn on the boiler power only after connecting the Adapter to the boiler board and turning on the main power supply of the 2OMT automation device.
Universal adapter allows communication with only one boiler.
If it is necessary to control several boilers, simultaneous connection of several universal adapters to the Zont automation device is required:
- H-1, H-2, H-1V, SMART - no more than 1
- SMART NEW, H-1V NEW - no more than 1
- H-1V.

The length of the communication line Adapter - Boiler is allowed up to 20-30 meters.
Communication line length Adapter - Zont (distance depends on the type of interface used):
- via RS-485 - up to 200 meters,
- via K-Line - up to 10-12 meters.
The recommended connection wire diameter is at least 0.5 mm. For connection via K-Line interface, it is better to use a shielded cable.
