Mostly not about classic cars
Like or loathe Dennis Gage (I find him annoying at best), this show should either adjust its coverage or change its title.
While there is some grey area, generally "classic cars" comprise a fairly defined car category. Usually, they are non-modified or modestly modified cars. Show after show, we see custom cars, resto-mods, hot rods, race cars, and other categories not related or mildly related to classics. In fact, it seems that often the shows that reliably actually focus on classics are when Gage visits Jay Leno's collection.
The other categories are interesting to some (not me), and there are plenty of actual classic cars and places/venues to cover them that are wholly ignored. So if this show wants tp cover this broad base, maybe change the title to "Custom Cars, Hot Rods, Resto-mods and Classics." That would be more truthful and representative. As it is right now, its rather like having a show "All About Tennis" but you cover ping-pong, pickleball, handball, and anything involving smacking a ball somewhere.

It's hard to imagine a world without cars.
Ever since Karl Benz brought a working, practical car to the road, the world has never been the same. The automotive industry is one of the most prominent industries in the world and a certain amount of importance is attached to owning cars. People spend their lives earning and saving money to buy the car of their dreams. Some people are lucky and, more importantly, rich enough that they have a hobby - cars, whether it's racing or collecting.
The fact is that cars are now an absolute necessity for people. As one of my favorite books said, "You can learn a lot about a person from the type of machine." If you are a car enthusiast, then the following TV shows you should watch rigorously. Here is a list of the best car shows of all time. You can watch some of these top automotive TV shows on Netflix, Hulu or Amazon.
This American show is presented by Wayne Carini, professional car restorer.
In this show, he unearths classic cars from the distant past to recent decades. Scouring every corner of the country to discover places where cars, even ones that haven't been seen in years, are waiting to be reborn. He opens it, tears it apart, and then rebuilds it, better in every way. The next step makes things even more exciting. These refurbished cars are then auctioned off and car enthusiasts have a chance to own, if not this, then at least face to face with the coolest stuff.
You have a car, but it's not in good shape. You can send it in for repair, but not only will that cost a lot of money, but you don't want someone else to deal with the classic. People can screw things up, they can even replace a (genuine) part of your car with a non-authentic one and make a profit by selling the original one. It's not like it always happens, but you can't blame yourself for being paranoid enough. How great would it be if one of your friends or relatives recommended that you have your car repaired by Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townsend? Yes, this happens too.
In "Car SOS", Shaw and Townshend pick up a car that has been (or has eaten) dust in someone's garage and fix it up to look brand new.
Most films based on the public's love of cars are dedicated to exciting and exciting car racing. This Discovery Channel show features a group of people restoring cars across the country. The host of this show, Richard Rawlings, has assembled a team from Texas. Together with them, he scours the country for cars that have been abandoned by people, cars that need repair, but not because of lack of time or money from the owner, in general, all kinds of worn-out cars. The crew finds these cars, sells them to their owners, repairs them, and then sells them for a profit.
In this British show, two car enthusiasts select one car from each series to find, fix and auction. But you need to know that these are primarily British and European cars. In each episode, the presenters talk about the car that will be shown in this episode. They not only talk about the car's mechanics, important gears and wheels, but also delve into its history - from its inception to how its design and model evolved over the years.
After that, they visit places to find a broken car, and then repair it, taking into account modern requirements and people's preferences.
While technology has made things better by adding new features to each new model, there is something about a classic that cannot be recreated. No wonder they say: "Old gold." And in his show, Dennis Gage proves it. His hyper-enthusiasm for cars is complemented by his personality, which echoes the classics throughout. With a mustache on the steering wheel and his motto that never gets old, he researches classic cars, attends car shows that feature them, and meets people who collect such cars. He also talks about accessories and tools that might be needed for maintenance if they have a classic.
In terms of the number of car shows, there are a thousand more enthusiasts who would like to run their own shows while researching, repairing and driving their dream cars.

Roadkill is one of those shows. Bill Wu and Gary Humphrey cross exciting and dangerous roads in this show in their Jeep Wrangler named Ruby. Wu, Humphrey and Ruby have already appeared on other shows that show them traveling to exotic locations and exploring new territories. While Bill is the car fanatic in this trio, Humphrey is the man of survival (he is a former British Special Forces). But the most important thing in this trio is Ruby. The car "was there, did it" more than we probably ever will. Jealous anxiety! In this show, Ruby also takes on the difficult task of guiding her passengers through the most difficult roads.
The most common reason people want cars is because they want to travel. Which car you need depends largely on the type of road you are likely to take. The World's Most Dangerous Roads is a BBC show featuring different celebrities in different cars in each episode. Narrated by Adrian Dunbar, each episode introduced a different environment, mostly changing from country to county, as well as the challenges celebrities face while traveling these dangerous roads. Not only road construction was taken into account, but also the environment. From Nepal to Peru, from Ethiopia to Bolivia, travel is enticing in this show.
This British show has been running for nearly two decades. And all this time, Mike Brewer goes shopping, selling cars. In a similar format followed by many other shows in the same genre, it features Brewer cars selling cars from owners. These cars are usually the ones that the owner wants to give up because they want to buy a new car, or just want to get rid of it because they can't afford to keep it anymore.
Brewer buys these cars from them and takes them to his mechanic, who makes them new, fixing everything. Brewer then finds a new owner for the car.
Before Wu and Humphrey took on the Car Vs Wild challenge, they had already proven their mettle and bravery with their car in One Car Too Far. All three were thrown into dangerous environments that could range from dry deserts to tropical rainforests. In the style of Bear Gryll, they were sent almost empty-handed and had to survive solely on the basis of their own instincts and skills. Wu used his skills as a skilled driver to get out of the way and protect them all, while Humphrey, with his years of training and survival skills, scoured their neighborhood for things that could keep them alive. All this time, their car also had to face difficult circumstances.
Jay Leno has had a very eventful career. He played the role of an actor, was a comedian, worked as a screenwriter and producer.
Between all these things, the only thing Leno didn't like was that he couldn't spend more time with his real passion - cars. Now, with Jay Leno's Garage, he's here to right that wrong. In his quest to build cars and understand them better, he travels the country. Along the way, he finds people who own classic cars. Leno tells them everything from the make and model of the car to the story of how the man came to own it. He meets fellow car enthusiasts and collectors and shares his love for cars with them.
Buying a car is a hassle until you know exactly what you want. There is so much going on that if you go out and try to buy a car without researching first, you will come home with a headache or worse, the wrong car! Now you can either dig through the internet, magazines and whatever is available to you, or skip it all and just watch this show. Presented by John H. Davies, this show sums up all that research that would take you hours and hours of your time into a half-hour segment.
Davis not only reviews every new machine that comes on the market, but also compares them to give you an idea of what might be the best choice for you.
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have reunited to bring us another amazing show (the previous one was called Top Gear - the show that tops this list). The trio of hosts are perhaps the most famous in the history of car dealerships due to the program's popularity. The chemistry between the three of them makes the show more real and interesting for viewers. They have a charm that is hard to break. In the "Grand Tour" they travel to different parts of the world, from the most difficult places to smooth roads. At these locations, they test the durability of various vehicles and, in most cases, take the liberty of making their own modifications. Adding the thrill of travel and camping, Clarkson, Hammond and May set high goals for travel and friendship.
Top Gear (2002-present)
The presentable style of Clarkson, Hammond and May cannot be beat. Despite being a revival of the previous show, Top Gear has carved its own niche in the television industry. I wasn't a car enthusiast (don't you dare judge me!), but even I watched this show with enthusiasm and dedication. It all started with a review, comparison, evaluation and analysis of new car models that entered or were about to enter the market. He has added new segments over the years to make it more fun, and in the process, more educational for car enthusiasts. There were races that celebrities entered and challenges that the trio took on. If you want to turn someone into a car enthusiast, make them watch Top Gear.
