To work with electrical aluminum and copper busbars, a special set of tools is used, which greatly simplifies and speeds up the processing of the busbar, and this, in turn, is very important for certain volumes and terms of work performed.
In addition, the use of a specialized tool significantly improves the quality and accuracy of processing electrical tires.
The Russian market is widely represented by specialized tools of well-established foreign manufacturers: ALFRA (Germany), ERKO (Poland), SHTOK (Germany) and domestic: KBT, GROWTH, CRAB ...
By purpose, specialized tools are divided into the following types:
Autonomous hydraulic tire bender SHTOK ШГ-150А
Autonomous perforator (shinodyr) GROWTH ШД-60А
Most of the presented presses require a separate pressure source: a pump or a pumping station. However, there are tools with a built-in pressure source. This tool can be purchased as separate items, or as a set with connecting several presses to one pressure source (hydraulic pumping station), there are also 3 in 1 tools with a manual pump and quite expensive machines with an electro-hydraulic drive.
Based on the foregoing, the choice in this category of instrument is very wide.
What to consider when choosing a tool for working with electrical busbars :
Tool for cutting, punching and stripping SHMGI ERKO HSE 100
Tool for processing solid busbars (M1t, Ad31t) and flexible insulated busbars (SHMGI) is different.
Cutting and punching holes in a flexible copper bar is not an easy task. Unlike a solid copper or aluminum busbar, additional equipment is needed to fix its layers - copper strips. Without special devices, these operations cause a lot of inconvenience - you have to fix the layers with improvised means, then cut the tire with improvised means. Of course, you can get by with a knife to remove the insulation, a drill with a vise to drill holes, grinders, scissors, etc. to cut to the required length. But, of course, this does not give either the required accuracy, or the necessary productivity, and even more so a good presentation of the final product. For productive work with flexible busbars without unnecessary problems, there is a specialized tool for cutting, punching and stripping copper flexible insulated SHMGI.
