Yet, if the hole is in a position like a tire wall, the problem becomes much more complicated because it is likely that the defensive position will not be patched.

I would like to tell you about my acquaintance with the Rossvik company. To be honest, my acquaintance was not usual. In principle, I had an unusual acquaintance with the tire repair business.
This is a very interesting story, if necessary, I will tell you separately. I didn’t think at all that at the age of 32 I would have a tire service. But he showed up for me. Yes. But not because of the material, but stupidly - because of the inability to use it. It has nothing to do with the company in any way. It was just inexperience. Unfortunately, Rossvik, in my region, was not developed (and to this day) as a distributor's design bureau, or rather, the distributor treated and relate to design bureaus mediocrely. I got acquainted with Rossvik products in 2015 when I came to work at Remshin31 in Belgorod.

Applying tire repair materials to retreadable bias tires
Sticker. Laminated calendered rubber, rubber-fabric patches, layers of cord and chafer or other materials are glued to the damage sites in the frame and side area with the sides apart. Previously, these places are smeared with rubber glue with a concentration of 1: 8 with a brush and kept for some time to dry naturally. Fungi or plugs are inserted into punctures smeared with glue.
Places of damage in the cover rubber of the tread and sidewalls are repaired using a special installation ATSh-105. The tire is installed on a lifting table and a mandrel of the appropriate size is inserted into its cavity, aligning the center of the mandrel with the center of damage. An overlay corresponding to the size of the tire is put on the head of the worm machine. With the help of a lifting table, the tire rises to the level of coincidence of the centers of damage and the lining and is pressed against the lining with a special device. A rubber mixture is squeezed out of the worm machine, heated to 60-70 ° C, and under a pressure of 6.5-7.5 MPa fills the damaged area on the tire.
Rubber glue is applied to the rough surface of the retreaded tire to ensure the necessary strength of its bond with the rubber interlayer and tread. The tire is placed in a spraying machine, in which its surface is blown with compressed air, washed with gasoline and coated with glue using a spray gun. The glue is sprayed under a pressure of 0.3-0.35 MPa. Plant productivity 30 tires/h.
After spraying, the tires are hung on an overhead conveyor and dried for 25 minutes.
Duplication of treads with calendered interleaved rubber compound. Previously, the inner surface of the protectors is roughened on the machine with metal brushes, then it is refreshed with gasoline or glue, dried and heated with infrared rays. Further, the protectors move along the roller table to the three-roll laboratory calender LK-160 (roll diameter 160 mm, working length of the rolls is about 600 mm) and enters the gap between the lower roll and the rubberized duplicating roller. Simultaneously with the feed rollers, the heated rubber mixture is fed through the belt conveyor to the calender into the gap between the upper and middle rolls, covers the middle
roll, duplicated with a tread in the gap between the lower roll and the duplicating roller and fed to the stitching machines. At the same time, the edges of the interlayer rubber protrude along the edges of the tread by 5 mm on each side.
When duplicating on the calender, a certain temperature of the rolls is maintained (°C): 60-65 - top; 55-60 - medium; 50-55 - lower.
Applying a new tread to a retreaded tire. The protector is superimposed on the carcass with a full profile or in the form of a winding of a narrow rubber band.
Full profile tread overlay. A retreadable tire with a chamber inserted into its cavity is installed on the folded rim of the tire press so that the middle line of the tire profile is aligned with the central risk of the press roller. Then the chamber is blown with compressed air to a pressure of 0.1-0.25 MPa, the rim moves apart and the tire is fixed on the rim.
The tread, duplicated with an interlayer rubber compound, after heating with infrared rays for 6-7 minutes to 65-70 ° C, is applied on a rolling machine to the retreaded tire and rolled by the central and side rollers. After that, the tire is inspected, the resulting bubbles are pierced with an awl and a needle roller and measured. Then the rim is shifted, the air is released from the chamber, the tire is removed from the machine, the chamber is removed from it and fed to vulcanization by a belt conveyor.
The tread can be applied on the machine. The rubber mixture in the form of a tape from the roller is fed into the hopper of the cold feed worm machine. After exiting the machine head, the tread band passes through the tread profile compensator and enters the compensation roller table, where its supply is created in the form of a loop, which is necessary for the continuous operation of the unit. Next, the tread tape in a hot state is applied to a rotating tire mounted on a disk, cut off, joined and rolled by a presser with a rubber diaphragm that eliminates air entrapment. After applying a hot tread, the tire is removed from the disk and sent for vulcanization.
