How To Reset Lexus ES 350 300h Tire Pressure System TPMS Light (2012-2020) – The Lexus ES is an upper mid-range sedan from Lexus, Toyota’s luxury division. The Lexus ES was available exclusively in North America until 2018, where it competes with the Lexus GS.

Tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) or also known as TPWS on Toyota cars is a system that provides a real tire pressure report to the driver. If the TPMS warning light appears on your 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 Lexus ES 350/ 300h, it is necessary to reset the TPMS. Depending on the vehicle model you have, here are a few ways to reset the TPMS. 

2012-2018 Models (XV60)

Time needed: 7 minutes.

This is the sixth generation of the Lexus ES. In this model years, your vehicle will be equipped with a TPMS reset button. Follow these steps to do it:

  1. Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine

    Tire pressure reset process cannot be done while the vehicle is moving.

  2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard

  3. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the POWER button twice without touching the brake pedal

  4. Look for the TPMS reset button and press the button until the tire pressure indicator Blinks slowly three times.

  5. Wait for several minutes with the engine switch in the “ON” position, to allow the system to record each tire’s pressure, then turn the engine off.

    Done!

2019-2021 Models (XZ10)

Unlike the previous model year, on this latest model, you have to enter the system menu to reset the TPMS. Follow these steps to do it:

  • Stop the vehicle and adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard
  • Start the engine
  • Go to [wp-svg-icons icon=”cog-2″ wrap=”i”] menu by using the ◄ ► navigation button
  • Select the VEHICLE SETTINGS menu and then press and hold the OK button
  • Select TPWS
  • Select SET PRESSURE
  • Press and hold the OK button until the TPMS indicator blinks 3 times
  • Run and drive your car

TPMS calibration process will complete after 30 minutes driving between 25 mph (40 km/h).
