Fleet checks form the foundation of any tyre management service as they are used to determine the condition of the rubber across your fleet, and to identify and rectify any problems.
Our fleet checks are carried out by trained tyre technicians on a regular basis to suit your needs. This is usually every 4 to 6 weeks, but in some cases it may vary.
Our fleet check programme can be built around you to ensure that we capture as much or as little information as you like including:
During the fleet check our trained staff will not only be looking to identify defects but also any opportunities for service work in order to prolong the life of your tyres and save you money. Service work includes:
A well serviced fleet not only benefits from reduced costs due to the prolonged tyre life achieved, but also benefits from reduced downtime as defects are caught and rectified on site as opposed to causing problems at the roadside.

As part of our fleet management service Truck Tyre Solutions offers on site servicing to customer's during business hours.
This flexible service can be built around your business in order to ensure that a fully qualified tyre fitter is in attendance when vehicles are available in order to rectify any defects that have been identified.
This service helps to reduce your costs as all works can be carried out on site at the same time. Many fleets who have gone without tyre management will be well aware of the dangers of incurring large bills at the roadside when defects are missed on site and cause problems when it's too late.
Our aim is to replace a tyre only when it is absolutely necessary, and this service as part of our tyre management package goes towards helping us achieve this by significantly prolonging tyre life across your fleet.

Truck Tyre Solutions deal with a number of casing collectors and retreaders across the UK to provide a flexible casing management service to our customers based on their needs. We are able to offer our customers a range of services including:
The casing collectors and retreader agents that we currently deal with include:
A casing bank allows you to utilise any reusable tyre casings removed from your fleet by having them retreaded and refitted to your vehicles if applicable once they have been assessed by a trained examiner.
For those customers who do not accept retreaded products on their fleet it is also possible to have casings independently assessed by a trained examiner. All intact casings are subject to a casing credit, whilst those which are in a defective condition are subject to a disposal charge. We can work with you to help obtain these casing credits through an independent provider, and our tyre management service helps to ensure that your casings are removed at the very end of their life in good condition.

TYREMAN GROUP offers an efficient set of technical tools to solve truck tire problems. The transportation of non-metallic materials is characterized by an increased load on tires, especially in summer.
The PressurePro tire pressure and temperature monitoring system helps protect tires, avoid tire failures, increase tire mileage and make driving safer.
TYREMAN GROUP
Our experience in this class of transportation shows:
50% of the tires in the fleet have a deviation in the tire pressure parameter of more than 30%.
A tire with a pressure deviation of 30% reduces its life by 45% and is at risk of premature failure.
Twin wheel deviation over 10% occurs in 30% of twin wheels in the fleet.
Operating a tire at 30% reduced pressure for 2 hours will cause irreversible damage to the tire carcass.
Over 50% of all truck downtime is directly related to tire failure.
Excessive load on one of the wheels in a pair leads to uneven wear of tires and wheel assemblies.

Why do you need a PressurePro tire pressure monitoring system?
Because you're investing a lot of money in tires and want to make sure they give you the best bang for your buck. Pressure is the main factor affecting the correct operation of tires. You want to guarantee safety, solve the problem of emergency tire failure, prevent a tire from exploding while driving, and ensure optimal wear over the entire standard service life.

How does it work?
You can assemble equipment according to the principle of the designer
is installed on single dump trucks, dump trucks with trailers for the extraction and transportation of non-metallic materials, such as: sand, soil, crushed stone, granite, limestone, clay and others.
ACS continuously measures tire pressure and temperature and displays these data in the driver's cab or remotely. The system takes measurements every 7 seconds or 12,343 times a day. Operating a tire with a 30% reduced pressure for 2 hours results in irreversible damage to the tire carcass.

Tekom LLC participated in the Russian Coal and Mining exhibition for the first time. Without hiding our interest, we approached her booth to find out what products she represents.
Off-Road Technology Arctic Studs are first and foremost specially designed anti-skid studs for trucks and special equipment that have been successfully tested in the most extreme road conditions. As well as a developed set of professional equipment for installing anti-skid studs in tires for various purposes and sizes, including CGs.
According to company representatives, the majority of visitors to the Novokuznetsk site were interested in the technology. Our journalists also noted the high popularity of the exposition: the problem of winter operation of equipment is clearly relevant for many.
For the visitors of the stand, the employees conducted a master class on installing specialized anti-skid studs (models 15-23-3T) in the KAMA 1260-2 tire, which attracted the attention of passing people. A seriously studded winter tire could not go unnoticed, and there was no shortage of those who wanted to try it.
We also decided to take part in this interactive activity. The installation process is quite simple: cylindrical holes are made in the tire using a tubular drill (and the rubber column is removed like a core), and then, using pneumatic equipment (studding gun or machine), the spike is firmly pressed into the tire.
It is the process of installing the spike into the prepared hole that is offered to the guests of the stand. Physically, this, it turns out, is not particularly time consuming, since the pneumatics takes on a significant part of the effort, allowing you to install a spike with a diameter of, for example, 15 mm in holes with a diameter of 6 m. But it is pressed in so that the spike is crimped with rubber to immobility!
During the demonstration of the technology, Deputy Commercial Director of Tekom LLC Vladimir Borodin told us in more detail about the reasons for the need for studding of truck and large tires:
other non-metallic materials, which ultimately leads to premature wear of truck tires and CGs. As a result, tires that could be used for 200–250 thousand km become unusable after 20–50 thousand km, that is, they do not consume even 30% of their resource.
Experts facing this problem are looking for ways to solve it. Businesses are always trying to increase the life of tires - at least to reduce operating costs, especially now, in the face of increasing prices for all types of industrial tires and their shortage in the market.
And even large holdings, which, it would seem, can afford the purchase of expensive tires, follow the path of optimizing costs both for maintaining the tire industry in general and for reducing labor costs in particular. And the more experienced the company's specialists, the better they calculate any implementation in the long term.”
Vladimir Borodin notes that under most conditions, tire studding is a more effective solution than sprinkling and chains. Anti-skid spikes turn the tire into a "reinforced" version and become part of the tread. Tires with Tecom anti-skid studs demonstrate excellent results under increased loads and extreme winter conditions.
As a result, heavy trucks perform their work more efficiently, also because the driver does not need to interrupt to install chains or, for example, put gratings under the wheels, add sand, especially when going up or down. When using tires with Tekom anti-skid studs, trucks drive through the route approximately 20% faster, while maintaining the average permitted speed.
“Everything that makes life difficult for trucks in winter is typical for special wheeled vehicles. So, in winter, it is difficult for loaders, excavators, trawls to start moving - scrolling, gassing, slipping, and so on are sure to occur. Anti-skid spikes "Tekom" solve this problem! The car moves off without delay, which saves tires and saves travel time. The popularization of the Off-Road Arctic Studs technology is going on in all industries in which equipment is experiencing difficulties in operation in the winter.
It is worth noting that the St. Petersburg company uses its own production facilities in the Leningrad region and produces all the anti-skid spikes in series, which cannot but rejoice in our time.
It's been a long time since the truck and specialty tire market has received a radical new technology, especially for winter. And from the reaction of visitors to the stand, we see that this development by Tecom is probably exactly what will benefit many companies.
